This is so inspirational. I wish Dr Pramod could do a follow up video on her experience during residency.
Will do with her next month
God has guided to this video I graduated in 2012
Great vlog 👏sure I will be a part of sarthi in future!
Very inspiring , will join you soon , PhD is awesome
Very nice interview !!!😊
This is so inspirational ❤️❤️ can’t wait to be usmle sarthi student !!
Glad you found it helpful
Thank you Dr Divya
She's so genuine. A genuinely nice person :)
Every experience is helpful, regardless of your situation there is something to learn from everyone. Thank you sarthi for posting these experiences
welcome
Brilliant girl boss
Having green card changes everything. Please do an interview with an applicant with same profile as her but no green card.
loved this interview, i'm new to sarthi on youtube. stumbled here by chance and am really liking it :)
Glad it was helpful. Let us know if you have any suggestions for what we can do more of
@@usmlesarthi2024hello
audio book recording volunteering where can i find?
Is she is a US-IMG? if yes, that changes everything!
GC holders or citizens get more interviews. No secret there.
she is US IMG. and yes more programs open up for US IMGs but here are some stories for Non US IMGs www.usmlesarthi.com/usmle-experience-of-imgs/previous/3
Correct even i was wandering how the teaching oppurtunity cme up .someone whose non US citizen n being outside US this oppurtunity is impossible .so her being in US may be with aGC or so automatically solves her problem.
Dr. Divya and Mr. Pawan... This has been so encouraging and inspiring to face all odds and stand firm. Congratulations Dr. Divya...👏👍
Do you mind to mention your Step 1 and CK scores ? Also, were you done with Step 3 before applying to the Match this year?
good scores she had yes. did not have step 3
I think she must have 240s or 250s in step 1 or CK. What I have noticed is that most people with above average profile seek help for residency match from these companies. The ones who's profile has red flags, they have something else which compensates for it. For eg. Old YOG nonUS Img with High Scores, Recent YOG with low scores but US citizen, etc. This has been my observation.
Thanks for your comments. We regularly have students with attempts, low scores match also. Read some blogs here www.usmlesarthi.com/usmle-experience-of-imgs/previous/3

Is it possible to interview him/her?
@@nilaybhatt172 we can try. Some want to write some want to talk.
@@usmlesarthi2024 makes sense. I would like to sign up. But I wanted to know to what expect from USMLESarthi.
For CV/PS edits and interview prep, I currently get guidance from my seniors residents and doctors. I have scheduled USCE and applying for research to build connection. So in addition to these what help can I get from USMLESarthi which can help me increase my match chances?
@@nilaybhatt172 we have classes for example on each aspect like how to get good lors, how to project your emr experience and so on. Additionally there is 1:1 guidance, interview prep classes, telegram group support and so on. On each aspect of match. But yes it is understandable that you may already have excellent guidance.
Sorry,What is the telegram channel she said?
Super interested in signing up for sarthi

Are teaching positions in medical schools available in us for imgs?
What is the eligibility criteria?
You will need to check on case by case basis but several of our students have done it.
Hi I’m just starting my usmle journey. I completed mbbs from Bangladesh, but did not do internship there. Am I eligible to be ecfmg certified by taking the steps or internship is mandatory?
You will need to check with Bangladesh Medical Board or the equivalent body. Some countries like India have compulsory internship. others like Pakistan do not have compulsory internship
@@usmlesarthi2024 oh ok thank you for your response. I already have my mbbs certificate and transcripts in hand. It’s not mandatory. I’m only required internship if I want to practice in Bangladesh. But I live in USA now.
Many people from our country has done the steps without doing internship, but now due to the pandemic they have come up with pathways, which is why I’m confused.
@@trishQt hi there , I did my mbbs from BD as well . As per ecfmg notice during pandemic u will have to complete 1year of internship!!
@@benazirkhattri6754 thank you for your reply. I didn’t take my steps are, so if I take my step 1 after the pandemic then I won’t need internship? I mean, I do have some clinical experience here in the US if that counts.
M old graduate… soon will be a student with sarthe
Sure. We look forward to see you match.
So how did she received 20 interviews? I couldn't find answer to it?
She preapred well with the help of Sarthi and received the 20 interviews.
How did she started with a teaching experience? Is it possible before getting liscenced?
Teaching experience does not require US Board licence

Following Priyanka Chopra her speaking style is really weird. It hurts one's ears. Although her shared story gave a good insight into her worth it journey to residency.
