@@ThrilledThrifter Hey Julie - I know this is a strange question but did you originally caption this video when you first put it up "Goodwill, You're Crazy" and then put a caption on the actual video picture "See her reaction to this" - then take it all down and then put back up the picture caption? I'm confused on this because I have alot of spam in my youtube so I'm trying to see if things are being changed. I know it's a strange question but you could solve some questions for me. Thanks♥

When you had all your finds laid out on the table, they all color coordinated so beautifully together, including your placement. I absolutely loved the pillowcase. The oranges with the greens with the green tones....beautiful! Elizabeth and her boyfriend make an adorable couple. Thanks for sharing the pictures.

I love your videos Julie. They're always so much fun. I liked the clock at :30, and the shelves at :45. I would have taken your advice of "Think about things outside the box" and turned them into bookends. I also liked the Salvation Army pillowcase. Elizabeth looked like a princess she was so stunning. I had that exact set of floral sheets back in the 80s.
An idea for the heart "towel rack' that I've seen in the past that I thought was really cute was to hang a pair of little boy overalls or a little girl's sundress that has straps on it.

My sister works in a hospital and wears crocs for her long shifts. She said they are great but when they get worn, the bottoms get slippery so she retires them when they get old. Keep that in mind so you don't slip and fall.

I quit wearing Crocs for the same reason. Slipped a time or two on wet floors that weren't labeled.

I just subscribed today! Have been watching you last 4 to 5 days I love watching you Thrift Goodwill stores. I have donated quite a few times to Goodwill, but never shop. I just started watching RUclips DIYs and Thrifty. I love to go to the local second hand store and now it is garage sale time, so looking for some organizational things in my woman's cave in my garage. Love to see what you find and how you use it!
I could have cried when I saw the cream pitcher and sugar bowl lid! I am looking for those two exact items! I have that exact pattern in a dish set that I was fortunate enough to find at an estate sale, but there was no sugar bowl or cream pitcher. I found a sugar bowl with lid, but the lid is cracked. That's OK though, I just turned the Crack to the back, but there you were, showing a cream pitcher and sugar bowl lid! I have wanted that pattern since I had a plate like that when I was a little girl! Well, at least I know there are some out there, and I love a good thrift hunt! Elizabeth was beautiful for her prom!
Your youngest little girl is absolutely gorgeous!! She reminds me of Taylor Swift (please don't take that as an insult) She has a funny personality too! I have seen her in other videos! She has a very good mama!! Handsome boyfriend too!!
The heart wire item is to hold rolling pin. I have three of them from an estate sale with the rolling pin for each one. One rolling pin is Milk glass and the other two are glass rolling pin’s.
The copper tin with cookie cutters inside was a train! I had that exact same set years ago to make cookies when my son had a Thomas the tank engine birthday party!
When you showed that pillow case i was like omg I have that one..I have it on one of my pillows right now. So cool!
That pillowcase was late 1970’s, early 1980’s. My aunt used sheets from that pattern to make me curtains and a skirted cover for my vanity. Oh how this warms my heart. ❤

@@ThrilledThrifterMy mother had that pillow case, its mate, and the matching sheets for her double beds. She probably purchased them in the late 70s. The percale was still in excellent shape when she passed away in 2021 at the age of 97. I wish percale sheets were easier to find. We received a set when we married in 1978. The lasted the first 30 years of our marriage without any piling. We just wore them out.
I had a set of sheets like that except they were in shades of pink.
Oh my goodness. I have those pillow cases and I had those sheets I bought in 1980
I dont shop goodwill, i dont even donate to them. The CEO makes millions of dollars out of donations. Its ridiculous. I choose the little guy.
@@ruthgoddard6539 I didn't say I was "too good". I was just pointing out the fact that he got rich with donations of free stuff. Greed. If you want to support that that's your choice. I don't mind St Vincent, it's a good cause. Salvation army does more with their funds than goodwill.
Hey Jane Doe, you are believing a long ago disproven story. Instead of spreading false stories from 10 years ago you read on the internet why don’t you educate yourself and discover the facts about Goodwill, a non profit that donates more than $50 million a year to charities.

Croc heeled wedges are amazing. I have three pairs I have had for 10 years plus! Lol. Mine are canvas with a heel strap, a pair in Cream, black, and pink. Love them!

😮 are Goodwill's here charge triple prices found some Dollar Tree stuff at our Goodwill and they charged four times what Dollar Tree does it's a shame that resellers got them doing that 😢 People want to go there and shop and get stuff to make their homes beautiful Larry had reasonable prices no more than five or ten dollars you're spending ! Now you are you are paying store prices and they get the stuff free😢 I must say you have found some the most beautiful thing and your house looks amazing you bringing the idea much love from Orlando Florida❤❤❤❤

Anytime you see a vintage set like that with the wooden ledge you can buy them online cuz I was looking for some other kind of LEDs and come across those so they have them on mine for a different size the canners you can purchase them and stain them yourself

The prices at our Goodwill have gone crazy too! Really starting to get discouraged with them.
I love the hobnail sconces! And, like you, thinking of WHERE I could put! They would be pretty in guest room on either side of bed but I just don’t have the room.
I found a set of the wooden candle sconces some time back and wanted to try the bleaching method to strip. I removed the small candle holder and just put my battery operated fatter candles and they hang
in my breakfast nook in kitchen snd I love!
You should be able to find the hurricane lamp for the candle holder.
I am pretty sure the cookie cutters you saw were a steam train and the cars beg=hind it, a TRAIN! Ryett would love some cookies made from those, you were showing them upside down. GW is raising prices due to all of the resellers, so they will make more money, I live in Ohio and the :new" base price for items is 1,99, for things like a single shot glass!
I’m going to stop,shopping in GW, I left today and could have bought tons of stuff, but the prices were so high, I left with one shirt for my husband

The print on that pillowcase is from JC Penney 1981, I had the whole bedroom set along with the sheets, comforter, and even covered some lampshades and made additional throw pillows. Definately vintage!

I'm looking for some vintage sheets to turn into curtains and wondered if you have done this and if you did how did you like the final result? I'm a beginner sewer and thought this might be an easy project.
@@gailann7813 yes, I have. Curtains are super easy from sheets. I just made some paris curtains with a valance from Paris sheets for one of my twin granddaughters. Also found a eifel tower which I repainted white with a pink lampshade. Her room is looking cute. I always look for good sheets for curtains and also for quilt backings, they wash up so nicely and last.
