From watching your Japanese candy videos, I take it that it's a cultural tradition to have sweeties that you can play with prior to eating? We should adopt this kind of thing in the UK, it might keep kids quieter longer when you buy them a treat if they have to construct the confection before consuming it.
Hayley Ralph they have existed in the UK though such as a gumi burger building kit and there were those toys where you could make your own insects or lab experiments/potions that were edible. Not sure if theres any that still are around other than what you can buy off Amazon UK. Though there have been other inventive ways to make food you can play with like whistle pops which people try to get banned because of how annoying they can be.
Emmy please buy the candy again because u misunderstood the instructions it says to put it at the base of the volcano meaning around it not in it then your suppose to put the pink candy in the volcano with the chemicaled water

The blue powder is not meant to go inside the volcano tube, it's suppose to be the 'water' around the volcano (the blue package has the little waves on it) so the inside of the volcano cone is empty and you can pour the red package into it and then the liquid mixture from the first package and it fizzes over into the 'water' around the volcano. ^^
Try to buy them online. Often there are 25$/50$/75$ etc. boxes of mixed "dagashi"(sweets) ps:depending on the price there are 25 to 100 pacs inside those boxes

Emmy you have to add 2 packet on the outside of the volcano then put number 3 in side and ad packet number one that is mix into the volcano when it start fuzzing then it reach to the powder you take the volcano away and start mixing and eat
I saw another video of a person making the same candy. What the person did was put the red in the middle, and then put the liquid. Try it again that way and it will work.

i think you can do it :D you took the funnel off when you put the powder in the base... so you kinda broke the water seal that you set x: the liquids just followed the powder off the bottom... which is why it spilled out the bottom.. next time just pour powder in from the top and keep the cone held down :'D (if you... ever wanna try it again)
In Turkish, Kazan means cauldron that something boils in it. It sounds similar to volcano. :D i really enjoy watching you eating stuff. You look so kawaii!

User Error. You weren't supposed to pick up the volcano after pouring the water in before you put in packet 2.
You did it wrong. The white powder is supposed to go only around the base, not in the volcano.

i made this a few weeks ago... you actually have to put the blue powder around the volcano and make sure that none gets inside... after that you drip water around it to stabilize the volcano tube.

I think the powder clump on the bottom and the liquid past trough it so it leaked and your mixture has lumps on it

You probably have to put the second powder in the volcano while it's still on the tray so as not to let any of the second powder all around the tray.
