It's so nice to finally see a video where the person doesn't spit out the candy immediately and go on for 5 minutes about how disgusting it is... I love that you actually give a description of each item and have genuine, non-theatrical reactions to it
This is the way Emmy always tastes new things. Even things she wouldn't eat again, she is fair & kind & supportive & inclusive. After hearing how rude other RUclipsrs are about tasting, I think I will stick with watching Emmy's old videos instead
Everyone freaks out about how the candy is made... That just makes it fun, the chemicals in this are no different from the chemicals in candy that you buy premade at a store. Don't be stupid
The candy "roe" is pretty cool. My husband is a chef and sometimes likes to mess around with chemical gastronomy. He makes cranberry caviar and lemon juice caviars. The solution cause the juices to have stronger surface tension essentially. They pop when you eat them just like roe too!
It's amazing to me how many of these make it at home kits the Japanese have. I can't see American kids having the patience to do this, they want everything NOW!
That was a horrible comment by whomever made it to you. That was just plain rude. Keep doing what you are doing you are a joy to watch everyday. Have a very blessed day.
The longer you leave the "eggs" in the solution, the more jellied they become. So you want to take them out as you go, then they have a better texture, and they will pop in your mouth instead of just squish.
I just watched this one girls video on how to make one of the japanese gummy candy kits. It really makes me appreciate Emmy's vids because this girl didnt even taste the finished product so I have no idea whether it tasted good or not! I love you Emmy, your videos are by far THE BEST! :)
I remember getting kits similar to this for xmas in like 94' I think is was Dr. Strange or something. it was like a science lab and honestly much cooler. You could make edible bugs and brains and potions. I didn't even get to play with mine because my brother who is 9 years older than me put it all together and ate it all lol My Dad bought me another one. So you can def find them in America and have been for awhile.
OMG I forgot all about that. They usually advertised them during holloween and christmas but I was a delicate flower-child and didn't want to eat jelly bugs and brains. I do remember the easy-bake oven that was too expensive to get no matter how much I begged my parents. The ones that Emmy shows are found in the local grocerystore in Japan and don't seem expensive. I just one that is more accessible and i don't need to buy a huge toy just to make it.
Love your channel Emmy, watching this video now really shows me how much youve grown as a YTuber. The quality difference over 5 years is amazing. Only thing I like from this video which is missing from the newer ones is the slow pronunciation and repitition of the Japanese words. It's really helpful to people that are trying to slowly learn Japanese. Thanks so much for giving up a slice of your life for our entertainment.
Okay, first of all. You're beautiful. You're amazing. You're talented. You're very good at explaining. You're so nice. You Seem really happy. You're kid appropriate. Sorry did I say amazing!? Oh well your amazing. Please, keep doing what you're doing. 😘 definitely subscribing. 😀 you definitely deserve so many more subscribers, you're on the right path my friend.
Hatsune Miku It was so much fun! The texture was really odd but everything tasted pretty good. It was all sort of generic fruit flavor. The rice tasted like ramune but everything else was nondescript. Oh the tamago was my least favorite part, it was kind of funky. I'd buy it again just for the fun factor!
I love your response, Emmy: "and ... I'm still here." Indeed, we all have to go sometime, but I heavily doubt these candies would continue to sell if they were dangerous. :P
Lol you dummies please learn the world more almost every food contains toxic products or weird thing like supermarket bread contains human hair or goose feathers... And red food coloring fleablood :) aspartame is causing cancer. So please don't say stupid things like that

I love the way she did this video.Because she made it perfect and she made her candy different from other people i've seen. And i think Emmy is a very nice and calm person I love Emmy she is so cool xoxo
So my box with all of my poppin' cookin' kits came today, but I was too busy to open them up and try. Now, I'm up bored and decided to try the sushi kit....I honestly prepared for the worst and it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. I was a little disappointed I didn't get the sprinkles packet, but I did get grape flavored soy sauce instead so it was still pretty cool. =] Thanks Emmy for making me want to be more "adventurous" with what I eat/try.
If yall are freaking out about the chemicals and how "They're going to kill you" well uhm. Newsflash, they wouldn't be able to sell them if they were toxic or something, and there would be a recall.
this is perfectly safe. And the chemical reaction is just like what some better restaurants use to make "caviar" out of different fruit and veggie juices. It's also pretty cool with "adult (alcohol) drinks, but this one is for kids of course. Great way to introduce them to science, and fun cooking
sarah jazmine Google it, it's the best thing ever. Well that's only if you like relaxing videos. They have whisper videos, role plays, visual sounds, crinkling sounds, you name it.
I know I know, I'm 7 years too late, but I finally found this in a local candy shop and I had to have it. Almost 10 years I've known about these but could never find them. The candy wasn't very good, but the making made up for it

I just ordered this type on ebay can't wait to get it in the mail so I can follow this again, from what she said about the texture, to me it's just like eating mochi cakes, they're very soft unless they are put in the freezer, with those you can either freeze them to where they are not so gummy soft or you can eat them straight out of the box. My favorite flavors are red bean paste and green tea. I shop at the Korean store where I live at every chance I get, it's awesome, never made my own candy before, this will be a new experience.
I found this kit at a candy shop in my town(Reno, NV) and HAD to get it!! I had the intention of making it with my 6 year old, but I ended up making it myself. Haha! It turned out super cute and was so easy to make! Here it is!
Emmy, I really like the way you said that about the comments on the edibility of popin' cookin' and happy kitchen by kracie. I would feel the same way like why would the makers of something make it for the purpose if the death of children? it makes me very happy that you said that because everything you said is absolutely true 😊
Here because I finally found a donut and sushi PopinCookin at my local Meijer’s 🤣 and wanted to watch a video of how it’s done. And what better person to watch than Emmy ❤️
I actually had a different thought to you when I made the kit. I actually really liked the 'salmon roe'. The rice smelt nice but the texture was horrendous, and the rest tasted a load better.
I just bought this from my work (I work at a snack delivery service called GoPuff) and I was just like I have to try this! Thanks for the video, I was really happy to see that you made a video on the candy being a new follower of yours.
