- Cappadocia is one of the most popular places to visit in Turkiye and easily one of our favourites too. With rock castles and cave hotels everywhere, it's an incredible, unique, otherworldly landscape.
In this vlog we show you how to easily get to Cappadocia via bus and share our first impressions of the town Göreme in Cappadocia after walking all around it. We're not sponsored by any company, we just hope our vlogs can help with others' travel plans especially when visiting Turkey.

As mentioned in the video, it's cheaper to book at the otogar (bus station) directly in person but we used this partner site to Kamil Koç to book our first intercity tickets online for convenience and did the rest directly in person. They will require your passport and Turkish mobile number in person to send you your ticket as a PDF. Most counter staff around Turkey we found could speak enough English to communicate date and time of travel, destination plus seat number that you want. Remember to check the PDF details that all your information is correct before you leave.

Very convenient central location but as it is a cave hotel, every few days a lil bit of cave rock would fall onto the seat area from the ceiling (thankfully none on the bed)!

There are tons of gift shops around Cappadocia. This one is near Gurme Kebab Restaurant. NB: Most zultanite that you'll find at these places will be man-made so do your research if you're after actual real zultanite (which is incredibly rare and very expensive).

Lots of antiques and rugs inside a cave with multiple rooms to explore.
🌇 Sunset Viewpoint (Aşıklar Tepesi)
A fantastic spot overlooking amazing views of Göreme and other areas in Cappadocia. Short walk to get to the top and it was very near our cave hotel. Definitely a must-do in Cappadocia.

We headed to Matakana Market yesterday morning and had a lovely lunch at the Matakana Market Kitchen Restaurant, with the weather being really good!
Ooo lovely Matakana is such a nice spot. There are some really awesome accommodations right by the water there. Also there's a bunch of really spectacular coastal walks.
Cappadocia is such an amazing place.. had high expectations going in and it did not disappoint. Incredible scenery and the testy kebab was delicious 🤤

Fantastic. I am loving the Turkey Tour. Loving the food also. I especially love your room where you are staying at in Cappodocia. I love the Archways inside, made of stone. I Love the cave-like dwellings.

At our last accommodation I needed to take those bags up 5 flights of narrow stairs 😂 no elevator. Work out done for the week 😂💪

We did make it to Pamukkale, n you're right the scenery is spectacular. That vlog won't be ready for a few months though 😅

Town is pretty laid back during the time that we were there but we've heard tourism is down this year. Normally it's meant to be super packed. Don't mind that at all though 😂🤙
Oh my gosh I forgot this video and I am still well behind on watching! Wonderful mausoleum there as they always are! Great advice on that ticket buying there! Wow complementary drinks and smacks on a bus ride! Wow! Very true about the stone room in the accommodation, with the electrical stuff running through! Always great food, international cuisine just amazing! Oh wow wow wow that kebab and the slow cooked meat looked soooooo good! What a unique way to be served a coffee! With that stone jewellery did he say what makes it change colour! Oh heck yeah I bet that landscape be ideal for movies like that! Yeah amazing view up there! Such a wonderful video!
Aw thanks for trying to catch up and watch all our Turkey adventures! Zultanite changes colour with different light sources I believe... something to do with the makeup of the stones. I believe the one we got was manmade though! The real gems are apparently super expensive and more rare than diamonds.
Good tip - buy the tix there at the station, but is it ever full?
Quite often it can be full especially in the popular routes. Worth getting the tickets in advance

So beautiful to drive to Goreme, it is like an enchanted view. Peter we command you for walking up with luggage, when we went, we only carried bookbags and we were exhausted.
It is a show, indeed, so cool! We know we can eat it everywhere, but we are looking forward to going back to Cappadocia and eating it again there. "tasty" hahaha

We didn't spend much time in Ankara. It was more a transit point for us but Ataturk's mausoleum was a must. Traveling around by bus was so comfortable and convenient 😊👍 and yes hahahah very tasty indeed both the kebab and my soup 🤣🤣🤣 Cappadocia was incredible. Definitely one of our favourite places we've visited to date!
