Absalom is a child compared to Samael. The best part is that we still dont know who is Lucifer which is why it will be interesting. There is a possibility that Lucifer is Samael's future just like Corruption was Absaloms.

Samael is a different demon from Lucifer. It's thought that one day Samael will take his throne but he hasn't just yet.
Yeah soon after the battle of eden Lilith had trick demons into helping her create the animus most did except for samael and the Lucifer had sent a army to kill samael strife and war talked to samael too
