I know this brand isn't known for it's quality or originality in some circles, but I have a Heliot Emil hoodie that feels super premium and has some really nice details. I got it second-hand, so although it probably doesn't feel as good quality-wise as some other hoodies in its retail price range, the money I paid for it has definitely been worth it.

Yeezy season 6 pullover hoodies are quite easily the best essential hoodies I’ve ever owned, the cut and material is perfect, and the fleece is super puffy and high quality. Every hoodie I’ve seen in response to your comment just doesn’t compare, Yeezy is known for having the best quality hoodies.

Definitely feel the comment you made on "wouldn't wear this hoodie outside". I have so many of my older hoodies that I feel are kind of a waste to throw out, seeing as they're still wearable, but at the same time I don't feel as good as I normally would when wearing them outside or even inside the house. Might have to tell myself to actually throw some stuff that I don't like out soon, cause even though they're wearable, they're not getting worn and they're just taking up wardrobe space.

Nice video as usual! I do have a few insights to add!
    1. Higher GSM (300+) is generally good, however material also influences how the hoodie holds its shape. Cotton-poly blends tend to have a better shape than 100% cotton, at a similar GSM
    2. Fleece lined hoodie will typically have a better shape than french terry lined hoodie.
    3. A double lined hood will also have a more pleasant shape and feel cozier
Some hoodies I like are the Seventh Stores, Yeezy Gap, Velour garments (600 or 1000 gsm) or even the very affordable gildan 12500

The black Nike tech tech fleece light weight. I love Nikes build of the hood to avoid the gnome peak. I prefer zip up than pull over. Nike makes talls easily accessible for someone 6’4”. No drawstring. Cone neck when zipped up. The material doesn’t pill.

Great points/tips! I would also add zipped hoodies to the list. I, personally, only wear zipped. The zip adds visual interest and prevents you from destroying your hair as you take it on and off lol (I rarely actually use the hood, I just like a firm and well shaped hood for the look) And of course, you can unzip it when the temperature is just a little too high to leave it closed, or you want to display a nice top underneath. Top stuff, Harry!

I LOVE hoodies so much, I have a need to avoid the hoodie section of my local consignment shop 🤦🏻‍♂️ lol Regarding drawstrings, I’m always conscious of my neckline, so 90% of the time, I’m tying it up unless it’s raining like it is right now.

I think the biggest problem most people have when buying hoodies is that they tend to pick one size too big. It think it often ends up looking sloppy and like it was a hand me down.
Like you mentioned about oversized fit vs actually oversized.

I guess i've always cheaped out on my hoodie purchases. Tbh, the two i reach for most are a plain black H&M heavier weight one which has some structure to the hood, and a teal/blue micro diamond stitch hoodie from Next. Both affordable and nice fits for me. Gotta agree on getting the heaviest weight you can, as otherwise they just tend to look a bit sloppy structure wise

I look aweful in anything. A big hoodie that hides me is the best one. 😂
I don't like drawstrings. I have a bunch of hoodies that came without them and they are so much better.
2 of them have a small string that attaches to the sides of the hood, so no strings hanging out but the option to make it smaller. A lot of children hoodies have this for safety but a few adult hoodies have it too.
I happen to remove the strings often.

personally, i think the ACG hoodies are perfect. The fleece ones are my personal favorites, great cut, great weight, great material, and i think they do drawstrings the best with short elastic loops. the only down side is the labeling all over it, but its small enough to not be distracting

My favorite hoodie is from Traditional Weatherwear. It’s a heavyweight, cropped, boxy-fit hoodie and finished with what they call “degrease” treatment, which makes the fabric really dry and rough to the touch. But because of it the hood keeps its shape and able to stand up, which gives a very clean look. It’s a really unique piece.

most of the time even the big companies don't list the Gsm of their hoodies, but i've gotten good at it, what feels good and is thick i usually get. I prefer french terry over fleece for all seasons. The most i dislike burshed fleece. But i have good quality normal fleece also.

I like the rarest type of hoodies: without drawstrings or eyelets and the hood’s edges cross each other on the front where they meet each other (can’t explain it better). Really not a lot of these out there :(

I really thought you were gonna create your own hoodie and were gonna sell it on your store. Great video as always!

I bought a black and grey Uniqulo hoodie last year in Berlin and have since wear and wash them a lot and they're still looking great. Really love the fit and feel and would buy them again (got them for 40€ each)
