Here's the original, "25 Lighters": ruclips.net/video/_iTfoFLz5nA/видео.html Love it when a band does a cover and really changes it into their own thing, like ZZ did here. Amazing song.
These guys have always been known for cranking out great " signature guitar sound" . This is different because their jamming with new distortion sounds, definitely not their regular sound.
I think this could be a cool live stream idea, newer songs by classic rock artists. I’ll submit “Sick Man of Europe” by Cheap Trick, a very quick, heavy, banger from 2009.
Never heard this tune either, but, damn, what a banger! ZZ Top has consistently cranked out good blues rock over the years. They have so many songs you need to hit. You could do a ZZ Top livestream just to hit a bunch of their songs in one sitting and be blown away.
MAJOR NEGLECTION ALERT!!!! You have still not done "I'm Bad, I'm Nationwide" or "Beer Drinkers and Hell Raisers" from ZZ Top. Dudes... Come on Dudes... You are committing criminal neglect, the Rock Police may already have a warrant made out for you... Either listen to the music, or face the music, just saying. Seriously, these may be their two baddest songs. "I'm Bad" for the historic significance, the hit that put them on the map, MASSIVE '70's hit, VERY cool. "Beer Drinkers", for the BAD ASS guitar work and tasty drums, fantastic, original, ass-kicking.
I haven't heard this yet, but to me I heard alot of 70s and 80s influence in this. I liked it. Thanks guys you introduced me to a song from a band I've been listening to since the early 70s. Now that's cool. 👍

The guy screaming out was Dusty Hill who sang "Tush" (& others) Sadly recently passed away losing your chance of seeing original lineupl BTW this album," La Futura( Rick Rubin produced ) is their best since " El Loco!
Their are better tracks.
1) Heartache in Blue
2) It's not Easy Manana
Hope they head back out on tour in honour of Dusty, with either their guitar tech or Leland Sklar on bass. Both are great on bass and have bad ass beards
@@HamiltonRb Ha, Leland Sclar would be perfect !!!!!!!!!!!
@@jgsrhythm100 He certainly would be, and has said him and Billy are good friends. Fingers crossed
@@HamiltonRb Love Leland on Billy Cobham's " Spectrum" featuring my favorite guitarist " Tommy Bolin"
" Stratus" & " Quadrant 4" 🔥
First time you guys reviewed a song that I had not already heard before, that was fun. That was a good tune, a definite add to the play list.
Here's the original, "25 Lighters": ruclips.net/video/_iTfoFLz5nA/видео.html
Love it when a band does a cover and really changes it into their own thing, like ZZ did here. Amazing song.
Love the guitar tone and how it just zips out at the end.
These guys have always been known for cranking out great " signature guitar sound" . This is different because their jamming with new distortion sounds, definitely not their regular sound.
You can practically hear the speakers shredding from the distortion in this one!
Billy Gibbons also used to use a peso as a guitar pick for added distortion from time to time! 😎
Saw them couple years ago and they rocked the place! Skinny old man rocked it!
I think this could be a cool live stream idea, newer songs by classic rock artists. I’ll submit “Sick Man of Europe” by Cheap Trick, a very quick, heavy, banger from 2009.
Ha, love this song! Glad you've discovered it.
Decent song but like most modern recordings there's way too much in your face compression which just kills dynamics.
First!! 😇
Close second!
Third 🤣
I was with Precious & Grace last night while we waited for the bus. We were drinkin' beer and raisin' hell. 10 shows under my ZZ Top belt.
A
Oh wow! Thanks for this….I listened to the Eliminator album back in the day……..over & over & over again, so this was a welcome surprise 🤩
T.Y. T.Y. T.Y. for going off the grid!!! More often PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE!!!
This is the kind of song I love to hear in my favorite blues bar in San Francisco, The Saloon, Est 1852. Janis Joplin's band used to play there among others
Never been a big Bryan Adams fan, but he took a dive into rockabilly a few years ago with a tune called You Belong To Me, that kicks ass.
Love it! ZZ .....one our finest Southern Rock bass playing wizards@
The guys were scheduled for a concert in the Amphitheater here in the city where I live and the excitement was palpable - but, it was the same day Dusty passed away.😪 Been a ZZ Top fan since the early 70's.
Why haven't I ever heard this song by them before?? I thought I was a ZZ top fan.. this bums me out.. lol Loved it!
