Would be great if you could compare this system's pros/ cons to the 123 ignition system if possible as I suspect this decision is on many Classic owners minds.

I had an issue with the system cutting out when it gets hot, I then have to wait for the car to cool down and start up again. I am about to change to a 123 distributor as it does not seem to have the same problems when getting hot.

I don't like that ECU out of the delco, not very period style ;-) Others are self contained. What is the difference?

Not sure about fool proof .I had mine fitted for five years trouble free and then the ignition module failed.Left me stranded. At that point I wished I had kept my original points and condenser.Would of been fixed on the roadside the old school way instead of a recovery tow.Having said that I fitted a replacement module and did not go back to points/ condenser.I carry a spare module in the boot now and if it ever occurs again I can swap out at the roadside.Expensive compared to buying points etc but certainly is not fail proof but gives great performance.

The camera closer to the demonstration should have been much helpful !
