Thanks for the unusual video. A lot of fascinating things to see. The old buildings are beautiful. The Elephants are really interesting. Have a wonderful day, my friend. 🌿🐼🦓🌿
Your video adds to my insight about Burma / Myanmar. Footage of a bus trip in Burma during the rainy season, it was the beginning of a very important period of liberalization. You visit temples and restaurants in and around Rangoon/Yangon, the Karaweik Palace Royal Cultural Show and see the Royal White Elephants at Hsin Hpyu Daw Park. It's all very stunning. Thanks for sharing.
Oh you were there during that time. You've been to a lot of places. I got to see those temples too here, all walks of life, and more. 'Twas during rainy season then, but picture looks so clear, very well documented my friend. I wonder how's Myanmar today. I've finished watching the film, thank you. Take care everyone. Fv'd and Lk
Thanks, sis! Yes we went to Burma that one time in 2012. Today it's probably not even possible, at least not safe, and I wouldn't even consider travelling there again. Take well care, everyone!
Wow, this certainly one of the vvideos of yours that has made me feel the most jealous! I cant believe you actually got to visit Myanmar and see the brief period of liberation and freedom the locals experienced! I wonder if there will ever be an occasion where outsiders will be able to visit again. I hope so, Myanmar was always very high on my list
Thank you for visiting and for your kind comments, as always! Now is not a good time, but we were quite lucky to get that chance in 2012. I had hopes for lasting improvements towards democracy, but... Let's hope it soon changes for the better again (not only for travelling opportunities). Have a great day and upcoming weekend!
Thanks for visiting, Dollakas, and for community sharing! I subscribed to your channel. As long as it's not cold, I love these days too. Have a great Sunday!
A little confusing lately what borders are open into Burma for foreigners and where you can travel. But the way things are there lately I do not feel like supporting the wacky government. Otherwise would like to spend much more time there. Burma tends to attract much more quality foreigners unlike Thailand.
Thanks for visiting. This was back in 2012, when the government wanted to give an impression of thawing up, democracy-wise... which didn't last long, unfortunately. Today I wouldn't set my foot there either. Then it's better to get to know some Burmese refugees here in Thailand :-) Have a nice weekend!
