Heller 1/100 Soleil Royal - Open Quater Galleries

After aot of deliberation I finally took the jump and opened up the quater galleries on my heller Soleil Royal. I would suggest very strongly to anyone who wants to do the same to do so prior to the galleries being installed. now I didn't do this so I had to very carefully cut the galleries out using a diamond tip burr. any mistake would have been disastrous, but luckily all went very well and now I have my beautiful heller 1/100 Soleil Royal with fully open galleries..

Hi Marc.. wow how on earth do I reply to such kind words. All I can say is thank you. This really means a lot to me personally. My work is very similar to a landscape artist painting on canvas. When I start I have a very specific image of how I want the model to look in my head and the basic structure of the model is the canvas. This is kind of why its important that every aspect of my models are painted freehand. To me my models are a 3D version of a painting that hopefully becomes a piece of art.
