Thank you for doing her topsides in blue. A book 'History of Ships,' by Peter Kemp, page 108 and the back sleeve cover shows a painting of her great cabin area. When was this painting painted? It's a beautiful painting by a Master. It shows Le Soleil Royal with blue from her wales up to her stanchions. Thank you again, this is the most beautiful ship ever built. WITH BLUE TOPSIDES!

Interesting build kit
Bella e ben rifinita nei dettagli soprattutto le incisioni a cera persa ,prive di sbavature.pero il kit di montaggio e la chiglia mi sembrano un po' piccola rispetto al modello finito che viene visualizzato in foto.
La scala è 1/65 se non ricordo male lo scafo misurava 61 metri. In scala dovrebbe essere circa 930 cm, a questo va aggiunta la lunghezza del bompresso.

The scale is 1/72. Once the wooden model of the Soleil Royal has been built, the dimensions are: Length 36.13'' (93.5 cms) x Height 34.29'' (87.5 cms) x Width 11.7'' (28.5 cms). We hope this information helps you. Regards.

Деагостини Россия выпускала эту модель, много косяков в журнальном варианте и качество дерево не очень, много было чего переделать, балконы были криво слиты (они из железа) и как по мне корабль не самый лучший для сборки, но как ни крути он красивый, я надеюсь все пробелы от деагостини они решили 🤞
The cover shows one, but in fact it is completely different.
QUESTION! When unboxing, the plywood sheets tend to become warped once the plastic is removed, throwing the hull in particular out of alignment when assembled. It happened with my last model (the Bounty) and most recently with the workstation. How can this be prevented???

@@artesanialatina1970 Thank you, but I don't think new plywood would solve the issue - plywood is dimensionally unstable when thin (particle board works better). I will try lateral bracing to stabilize the pieces - if that doesn't work I will contact you.

Sadly none of the new artisania Latina kits.. even the ones @800… don’t come with printed sheets.
The 1:1 big ones indispensable while building. But 100% is on a disc. The thing is I do this hobby to take time out from life to myself. I don’t want to be connected to anything but the wood, the tools and paper plans. Bringing in a digital source… I feel takes away from my purpose in taking up this hobby. Sadly my 800 will buy the vasa elsewhere.
