- The way soldiers are trained is likely the most vital factor when it comes to the British Army's ability to take on and win wars.
This training, provided almost continuously throughout a soldier's career, makes the Army stand out and gives it the reputation it has around the world.
Say what you want about its equipment or the size of the organisation itself, but where training is concerned foreign armed forces envy the British Army.

Of course UK troops are fit to deploy. You just don't have anywhere near enough of them. It's embarrassing. UK gov't needs to make its UK military a priority, not a liability.
Trainning Ukraine takes priority, UK troops have fallen behind as a result and are not ready to deploy.
Same with our troops 🇨🇦 we desperately need funding
This country needs "Mass". That is more soldiers, sailors and airmen. A lot more. Shiny new kit is one thing.. People to use it is far more important. Currently it is woeful.
I didn't see a single drone in the entire video, given what we have been seeing in Ukraine and Gaza we should be adapting to that threat.
You also didn't see anyone cooking, directing air support or track bashing.
@@disposabullI think it's a heavy subject but totally agree 💯
@@meme4one Sure, but what I did see was a group of people, in the middle of a field, out in the open digging a waist deep hole with a few sandbags and pretend to have a battle against tanks.
It doesn't matter which active conflict you look at today Ukraine, Israel, Burma, Yemen, Sudan both sides are making massive use of small drones.
Doesn't matter if you are fighting insurgents or a major military like Russia drones are everywhere now.
Even worse Russia has rendered a lot of our precision weapons useless.
For example Ukraine was provided Excaliber GPS guided artillery. Russian EW adapted and the hit rate rapidly dropped to 4%, meaning it was costing $1.9 million to hit a target.
Same problem with the GLSDB & JDAM-ER.
Russian EW is defeating all of our fairly low cost precision weapons.
I can't see any conflict in the future taking place where you can dig a hole in a field with no top cover, no EW and live long enough to talk about it.
what's the point in getting more soldiers in if they're not properly equipped? because what's happening at the moment is that soldiers aren't getting all of the equipment they should be getting, let alone extras like strategic bombers which the UK used to have
I can hear the training taking place from where i live
Me too 😁
Fight for this country, come back then on the streets.
Know your enemy, know everything about them, all their activities of daily living, in my opinion of course, read everything you can about them and bless you Yasmin 🙏
How's the hand2 hand and knife course or forgot that part?

Did that soldier directing traffic not have a back plate in their carrier? Genuine question🙏
He did not, well spotted.

@@lmc5955 By the looks of him I wouldn't be surprised if he was clean shaven that morning.
@lmc5955 bit late in the day getting your manscape out when it comes around we used to have someone come around with Cs gas stick and wave it around while in a exercise to test your drills and skills doesn't that happen anymore
@@markcollins7426 He's the examiner not the examinee. In your anecdote he'd be the one waving the stick about and as such I'd imagine he'd be shaven and masked.
@@synchc so why is he not masked up oh he left it in the Salisbury hotel
Whilst I’m sure these soldiers are tough, reliable good soldiers, we did have an Expeditionary Force at the start of WW2 and they unfortunately got pushed all the way back to Dunkirk
True fact, hitler couldve bombed the whole beach but refused, winston churchill had all his debts paid off by jews, rothschilds started both wars, the germans tried to save all of europe from the jewish mafia

To get a very good idea of the terrible stress and danger of combat, read Scott Hartwig's book, 'I Dread the Thought of the Place'.
The place? Antietam.
I thought it was about Hull.
@@meme4one No.
Well, you lot are in better shape than we are in Canada, successive Govts (both Tory and particularly Liberal) have slashed budgets and
reduced the overall strength of the CAF over the last half century, to the point we are barely able to commit to more than one limited intl op.
At least you are still reasonably well equipped (material & logistics), and have a Govt that is not willing to lose face completely before its allies.
Young Trudeau is far worse than his dad ever was, I used to challenge him as a youth in the riding assn. executive to very little effect back then,
but things have taken a darker turn under Justin's stewardship, older and wiser now, I have not even attempted to engage and reason with the kid!

Do the Royal Marines do this too?
Yes. The system is called AWES and all close combat troops do it.
@@meme4one Thanks. Yank here, I was just curious. Our Marines will do ITX, but they won't do our Army's JRTC for example, so that's why I was wondering.
I'm sorry but she's not going to instill fear doing bayonet training
Which General is getting an MBE then for re-inventing the wheel?
So how many FPV drone attacks did they undergo?
Does Recce Plt have Drones
Or are we fighting yesterdays battles
Let me get this right.... There are less than 23 infantry Battalions left, down from @60. There are less than 100 tanks left that can deploy, but we have a dedicated unit to test if troops are fit to deploy.... How can they deploy? What size would they deploy? In a real war the entire British *army would be killed within 2 months. Thats if they were able to borrow ammunition from other nations. Current ammunition levels would last less than a, week in a near peer conflict with China, Russia or Argentina.
But never mind, as long as we can still supply wooden tops for trooping the colour.....
😂😂 Argentina

Am I the only one here that yearns for the old style of soldiering?
Why are they using the old desert DPM?
Think it’s there chemical suits. But knowing the army they haven’t been changed to the new DPM so probably these are from the first Gulf War….?
It’s their NBC suit. Protects them from the chemical agent. Since it’s training, they use the older suits that are printed with the older patterns. USA forces do the same thing.
That's just a chemical warfare suit. Old ones are used in training. Also the enemy might wear desert dpm on those exercises.
Deployment of UK troops will never happen not with a PM that they have .hes as yellow as a new york taxi.
Ah, a troll.
A female ''guardsman''? Makes one despair at the state of the British Army.
I bet she’s not doing any of the hard work digging the trenches with the pick axe, as soon as the camera is switched off.
My heart bleeds a female infantryman
What about drones? A battle like this will always involve drones, as we have seen in Ukraine.
already testing vehicle mounted lasers down there
what the heck do they need drones for? they've got satellite imagery

I believe the correct language is now Infantry 'person', not Infantry 'man'. Other acceptable language is 'grunt' 'bullet magnet' or 'sandbag' as these are not gender specific.
It’s Infantryman actually! Also I served in the Infantry for 12 years and never heard anyone called a grunt were not American.
Your getting angry at something that is not happening.
