Man brother you make me nervous on some of those steep grades. I’ve been in a military vehicle rollover and it’s always in my head. I just can’t shake it, even on a bigger excavator. I do appreciate you showing this part, I’m learning. Thankfully most I do ain’t that steep here in middle tn. Good stuff brother keep it up.
Thanks for the tips and techniques on benching the access on that steep property. As a notice home owner / operator, I'm always concerned with falling or sliding when compacting the soil. Again, I appreciate your discussing your approach as you work the job. It's very educational.
I'd like a peak at the owners tractor if the are agreeable to that. Looks like a beautiful property! Might inspire tractor envy and/or rivalry though... LOL
Project is looking great. Question do you prefer working solo over having employees. I know you used to have employees. I know for us its almost impossible to find good help. Even though we get less done its worth not having the headache dealing with employees.
It's amazing to me that you can do a project like this and not hit ONE rock!! I can't blade 10ft without having to dig one out and backfilling the hole it leaves. LOL
Somebody 2 years ago took 2 checks out of my mail box one was to Cat Financial for my 299 D payment the other was to cat for my cat access account for filters I had purchased they scratched out cats name and wrote refund in the memo it took awhile to get it straightened out it was a big hassle

Hey Buddy,
How you finding the CAT, still looks pretty tight,
What size is it.
Love your work
Cheers mate.
@@haroldw2823 I love it. It’s the 309 cr. Weighs about 22k pounds. Thanks for watching
Todd, just curious, why not use a wide tilt grading bucket when you're cutting a trail on a slideslope? Why the regular toothed bucket?
I want planning on doing quite that much work initially. I’m definitely gonna haul the tilt bucket out there to finish the project
Hey Todd, that is one steep job, like most of my property lol. Would a skid steer be of any use on this kind of job?
@@Robbinsfarm21 you could use one. It would be far more difficult
Great info on road building. Stay safe.
@@jeffterhune8573 glad to provide
Todd, could this job have been done with your 289D3?
Too steep for that rig

@@NITELIFEKENNEL I definitely prefer working alone. But I have really enjoyed having Emma work for me.
Sorry about the bank account Todd, we don`t pay anything by check anymore, nice little road buddy.
Thanks 👍
