I found Todd’s consultation to be very helpful. I got some questions answered in a way that changed my process steps to creating the business for the better. There’s more to the business side and legal side than meets the eye or that’s mentioned. I found that a lot of people around me that I’ve asked seem to not really want to share that information for whatever reason. There is one personal friend I have that has been very helpful but for the most part not many people share a lot of that information. Todd was able to get me thinking as to how to be better structured, taking the steps, as I go through the process of getting things setup. Also, to some degree, what to expect or ask for with local municipalities in a general sense when doing work. I appreciate your time Todd and as always the helpful videos.
I have always appreciated Todds willingness to share and glad he is able to provide a valuable service. I can say that I when I started a business in a different field, the people in that field were less than helpful and many were downright cut throat giving bad advice so others would fail. Not to say all were that way, made several friends in that industry through youtube, but many of the business owners where I lived just seem to be out for themselves and don't care one bit about giving back. Glad I moved away from there, glad I retired and started a different business that I enjoy and can do part-time for fun and making a little extra cash.
Nice work on the video, Todd. It was a pleasure watching you work on our property and so thankful I didn't do it myself, I would still be on the lower section. Very pleased with the work and your work on this project has not ended. Will be in touch for round 2!
"cutting in a driveway for a guy from Texas".... It wasn't me Todd, but if it was I would hire you in second. I'm still rooted deep in Texas, love your work ethics and your integrity. Seen you come full circle from working alone to having a crew, thankful I found your channel because you have helped me, though I am not in the business, I have saved lots of $$ and got the job done right by following your instructions. Thank you!
I used to own a property at THE CLIFFS. Your videos make me appreciate what Jim had to accomplish in order to make it all possible. Todd, great job once again. My best to you, your family, and all you do to make Mountain Living a great way to live.
Thank you for taking the time to make the videos and post them. I work for a utility and I like watching your videos to learn tricks for down the road. I know it takes time to make videos and time is money for a guy running his own business. Thanks again.
I love watching letsdig18 work with his big equipment but there is something satisfying about watching someone grade with a trackhoe bucket 9:55 the camera falling scared me thought he had done rolled the trackhoe
Always enjoy watching you work, due to your explaining what you're doing and why is always helpful to one's possible doing work themselves. Keep up the good work and enjoyable videos to watch and of course learn something. Have a great day and stay safe.
Another great video, and great work as usual. This project seems a little different than your usual, not sure if it was a budgeting, or timeline thing, but access and maintenance to this road will always be a challenge, as the owner will soon find out. That switchback will be brutal if he ever needs to get a big truck or trailer up there. If all he's looking for is a once and done to get a camper up there, where there's a will, there's a way. Hopefully he's looking into cutting ditches, putting in culverts, retaining walls, and shoring those banks up somehow, seed and straw aint gonna cut it.
Also like watching you work and how you explain things which brings me to my next request could you please wear a microphone instead of having it hang in the cab it’s hard to hear you over the hum of the machine other then that you do great work keep it up.
You replaced the Yanmar mini excavator with the CAT? I remember you had difficulty getting a roller for the Yanmar which prompted you to remove all Yanmar decals.
Hey, been watching you for a bit. I just rented a mini X to work on my driveway in Spruce Pine NC. My question is how steep is to steep? I have a section that is probably around 25% grade
Hey todd how far from Statesville are you we just bought some land and im trying to do it my self but i might be in a lil over my head and thouht about hiring you to come out and cut me a road
I believe Devine intervention has happened. Next month we are needing a road put in and we're wondering what it would involve and bam I get this video suggested to me. Okay so it was the AI but hey.😊

tkindy.slm@gmail.com
Good video. I aim to do the same thing on my property. A side by side trail down to the creek. I have the equipment to do it fortunately.
Great stat to your project Todd 👌😁
Thanks Travis 🙏🏻
wonder rough cost for the land work, not the gravel part...
Usually $225/hr
At 9:46 I totally thought something crazy was happening and you were rolling your machine lol
I was thinking how'd he flip it there. By the end of that thought the camera settled and I thought, oh the camera fell, makes sense. Lol
Love your work! Will you come do a project in Maggie Valley?
Possibly!
Enjoy your videos. Thanks
My pleasure
Great job.

Amazing job. What was the cost of that project?
@@arqjorgelg I honestly don’t remember at this point. I usually conserve $250-$275/hour
@DigginLife21 I would like to hire you but my place is too far ...Glenville
Good videos
So nice of you, saving the forest creature....💗.....Respect. Great excavator work too.
Thank you for all teaching
What kind of attachment is that one? The bucket that lets you grade. Thank you!
Well done! How much did you charge and in what state?
At 9:50 omg I thought your excavator fell over the edge of that hill 😵 Way to scare me Todd 🫣
Good job. Very nice work.
Thank you very much!
Love the love of critters
You replaced the Yanmar mini excavator with the CAT? I remember you had difficulty getting a roller for the Yanmar which prompted you to remove all Yanmar decals.
Rewatch! You will build a road anywhere!
You know I will
I love your videos
What size cat excavator do you run?
What state are you in ? My friend is moving to TN.
Western North Carolina
Hey, been watching you for a bit. I just rented a mini X to work on my driveway in Spruce Pine NC. My question is how steep is to steep? I have a section that is probably around 25% grade
Ideally for a gravel driveway I try to stay around 15% but in your area 20% or less

nice work!
Thank you! Cheers!
Any issues with hill sliding out ?
Not that I’ve been made aware of.
won't rain coming down the hillside just wash it away?
Not after drainage or complete. More work to come

My name is actually Todd but if you wanna call me devine…I’ll take it 😂
How much a job like this cost ?
Incredible how much a 10 ton mini costs... 250,000.00 new. Unbelievable how much prices have went up
thats a 302?
309
I think it’s a great change. Definitely not a easy job.
At 22:09,, it looks like he might need a retaining wall there sometime?
