Todd is a MOVEMENT! So much you can learn from him in 1 video. His passion and enthusiasm is so contagious. His work is second to none, he is master of Big equipment! Anytime he is out of the machine talking about the project it's a learning opportunity. Thanks for sharing!
I'm like you Todd, I love the mountain. I live in the ouachita mountains in Ar and just love it. Love the video, I just bought a new track loader with a bushog, can't wait to get on it and use it. Keep up the good work and thanks for all your videos.
Thanks for tips and thoughts on greasing machines. Timely for me as I just finished degreasing, pressure washing and re-greasing my Kubota U45 excavator. I found that going the extra effort to clean out the old caked grease and dirt from the joints facilitated getting the fresh grease to flow throughout the joints. And of course, wipe off the excess grease to make the next degrease effort a bit easier. Beautiful mountain views and crazy grades.
got behind watching your channel, been full on remodeling a couple rooms. Great video, especially with the extra drone footage. The shot of you on the bank overlooking your truck looked pretty steep. As far as pricing goes, if they can't run with the BIG DOG, they need to stay on the porch. Can't wait to watch the next one! Stay Safe
So, I really liked these videos brush hogging…simple but with some degree of difficulty. I’m sure you’ll hear this more than once-please put that boom support in place while you’re greasing or working on the machine
Hey Tod another great video when I was in business I had a problem competition as long as it was good competition as far doing the right job pricing fairly it was the low ballers half assers or the rip off artist witch cause the problem for legit contractors have great day
I asked a helper one time to take my yellow grease gun and grease the 308... It took me an hour and almost a full can of brakleen to get that grease gun back to where I was happy to pull it back out of the case again. Hate having grease on me and consequently on the controls and the seat etc. That little spring/strain relief at the tip is the worst to get clean.
You've got bigger balls than me on the steep stuff. I slid my lawn mower down my hated hill last weekend. Luckily there is a safe run out and small chances of something bad happening.
Todd, does it always rain where you are? Are you secretly in the Pacifuc Northwest and the accent is an elaborate camouflage? I've watched about 30 of your most recent videos and it's either raining, about to rain, or just rained. Seriously, you might be some kind of Rain God! You should contact Saudi Arabia or Ethiopia and agree to visit to help their drought issues. Anyway, keep up the good work, I can't wait to see the weather once summer ends!
I started my excavation business 3 months ago. Ive got stickers on my truck with my business name I've tried social media business cards. And still struggling to get jobs any pointers on what I may be doing wrong any information helps thanks and appreciate your videos
What is your target client? Example, land clearing would be developers, septic systems would be plumbers, footings would be builders, field tile would be farmers, etc. I have had a lawn business for over a year and get very little from social media or Google, but I know a person who works on side by sides that facebook ads got him a lot of business. But you must target your potential clients. When I had a tree business, there was always more business than I could do, my body just can't do that type of work anymore.
@@AnimationCPU-y2k24 thanks I appreciate it. I do septic tanks culverts land clearing brush work demolition driveway repair and a few other things. I think it's kinda silly RUclips wants content creators to use a video title that's startling or extreme. I come here for the content and the creator not the title of your video. Question ! If I or your viewers skip an advertisement while watching your video does it affect how RUclips pays you ? I was watching another channel last night and the guy said " and thanks for not skipping the ads". I had wondered about that but he was the first and only time I have ever heard thus. Anyway I'll watch em if it helps ya but I am guilty if it matters 😜

Skid steers are kind of like zero turn mowers. They'll hold on some super steep slopes, but once it goes south... it REALLY goes south quick.
You are so right 🤣
Love the videos Todd, glad you greeezed the machine.
More to come!
