It's hard to believe that the last 20 plus years has passed us by so quickly since the original "TRUCKS" premiered with Mel and Stacy as the hosts. Those were the days.
I learned all my basic mechanic skills from these shows back in the ‘90s. Common stuff that a 12 year old just didn’t understand until (I at least) saw them do it.
I have mine since 2001. My mother got me my 97 F-150 used with 30kish miles. I was 19 then. Still own it. Just can't get rid of it. I've had people wanting to buy it left and right.
Respect to evans to keep racing despite losing his leg control. That’s determination and will too many abled people and will not understand. I have been with back problems and leg problems doing auto mechanic apprenticeship and school for paint and body tech. Daily a manual car too. I may be in pain and lack strength now recovering but if you have the passion for automotive like I do and evan you could find a way to do it.
Waiting for mel to put on a clear rain suit, turn on some 80's Phil Collins and axe murder Stacy.........if you've seen the movie "American Psycho".......you might get the joke, lol. Great episode, I just bought an 03' F-150 off road package truck......and dreaming of all the cool things I could do to it, lol.
Kinda thought the same thing. I think prerunner I think exactly what you said. Kinda want to give my Silverado 4x4 the prerunner treatment. Just really expensive since I lack the skill to do the work.
Yeah. Tires with even a moderately aggressive tread are noisy. I am running Nitto Terra Grapplers on my Silverado and they are a bit annoying at highway speed.
It does affect steering geometry..you lose turning radious..I've done plenty of the low budget lifts..I even have a tundra,,my personal truck with 4 inch spindle..it turns like a school bus

Yup I used to love watching them Saturday morning. Is there a collection somewhere of all the old episodes?
And most of the parts aren't available anymore 😭
Waking up on Saturday morning to the Powerblock; dreaming of the day I'd have my own car. Ahh the memories.
I used to live for the Copperhead build.

Same, shows like this and forums, there weren't any FB groups where 1k people ask 'has anyone ever?' to crazy simple questions...
Damn I'm gonna flip 🙃
Make 10th Gens great again! It's a shame Fabtech doesn't make kits like that anymore.
Never was a 10th Gen fan
Fabteh is garbage... pavement trucks
Why?@@anthonyolsen9299

The best part of my Saturdays.
I'd daily drive that prerunner F-150
They should have installed the long travel and ditched the stock bumper for a full pre runner bumper

Been involved with off-road racing my whole life class 1 9 7 7s 11and class 8
I like and subscribe to your channel.
Dang wish still had my 02 f150.
memory unlocked
Before RUclips it was Haynes repair manual and these guys.
"so we won't make too much noise buzzing down the interstate" * sounds like it's ripping the concrete floors at 2mph

@@bmstylee I have bkts on my 04 f150 and you can't hear the radio below 50% volume at highway speeds
That truck has had some miles on it that front shock was blown
They did all of that to a 4.2L V6 truck? Hopefully it was fun to drive. I would have liked to see it with the flared fenders as well.
I have one stock but i put a 3 inch kit, and it's the best
Is there an archive somewhere of all these older Trucks episodes? I used to watch these all the time
I'm really proud of him cuz I'm apparently paraplegic I can't do half of any of that stuff
My 2016 F150 with 110,000 Miles isnt that dirty or rusty as that brand new truck is...
So many of these on cars back in high days 96
You guys showed real do a bronco with a 302 or 351 Windsor
Did that make the driveshaft pull out the trans? Or put excess wear on the u joints?
Me podrías dar la marca y modelo de la suspensión y saber si me los puedes vender y enviar a Mexico?,me ayudarías mucho si me respondieras, saludos
Los venden en mercado libre mi buen búscalo como spindle o manguito si tienes dudas dime

U joints are never that easy
Can’t believe my guys intro is the iPhone piano riff 💀
You do realize this show aired long before the iPhone was even conceived.
@@bmstylee ye bro it was a joke
Should have done it without any (chevy/junkyard scrap metal) in the video it would have made it better
Great lift kit! Poor Stacey, not only has a girls name, but he thinks that haircut looks good 🤣
Truck goes off pavement and instantly gets stuck in 2 inches of sand.
Why?
Not even remotely close to being a pre runner even for the time that this show was filmed lol
Cheap executives that's a v-6 F-150
That's not a prerunner in any way that is just a lift kit and anyone who knows anything about an off road truck knows that
Poor guy. He must have been bullied a lot for being named Stacey. His parents must really hate him.
Xxam shop with me. Shorts,,,,,,
ugh. 10th gens were the worst looking f150s ever. they looked like an s10, only bigger. tenth gen only looked nice as a lightning.
Haha it's true, i have one and i love it but a custom front
