The Soviet (and Russian) national anthems, to me, are a musical expression of total victory over those who want you dead. It is a musical way to say "I won." Considering the tens of millions of people who sacrificed themselves for the right of their people to exist, what I described is a gross understatement.
I think you're right. This Anthem Is a symbol of real power over every enemy,It gives a sense of security and knowledge that you can achieve something bigger than you.
