On a side note, I read somewhere that the 6538 Sean Connery wore belonged to the director, or one managers on set, but Connery’s wrist was too big for the bracelet to fit him, so the owner had the watch fitted to a strap so Connery could wear it.
I discovered your channel yesterday, and I'm quickly making my way through your whole catalogue. I really like smaller watch channels like this, and unlike most smaller channels you actually seem to have great taste while not coming off snobby. I think this will be a new morning routine for me, watching some of your reviews while drinking my morning caffeine, and staring at my new Oris Pointer Date. I once read somewhere that the bracelet wasn't sized for Sean Connery so someone ran to a nearby store and bought that NATO strap. You can see it's not even the correct size. Il try and find where I read that and post here if I can locate it again.

I am not planning on ever removing the bracelet from my 124060. However, I really like this vintage of the Submariner, and I agree it looks great on the NATO strap.
You’re right about how the strap matches your reference Sub perfectly. Is the bezel insert also thinner? It looks that way and I think it helps the look just as well as the thin lugs do. The Sean Connery Bond nato is comical. You can see the spring bars WTF hahaha.

It was a gorgeous piece. I agreed the newer submariners are a bit too bulky. Another watch that looks good on a nato are the explorer 39 and 40mm. So do the Omegas speedy moonwatch. Great video friend, I’ve have the similar nato on my sub too, what i really wanted to know was how are u controlling your seizures, I would like to know because I have had epilepsy for years I’m 45 now but my seizures started out of the blue age 14 so I know how u feel friend all the best friend 👍🏻
The james bond nato. The answer is they did not care. It was correct to wear a nato for a service issue watch . This rolex wasn't ofcourse. People didn't really worry about looks in those days
The current submariner 124060 absolutely puts this watch to shame. The bracelet and clasp isn’t even comparable to the junk that Rolex was putting on their pre ceramic watches. There is a reason modern subs are selling for more than the modern pre ceramic versions. They are far better watches.
Unfortunately he had a pretty serious altercation with his neighbor. Supposedly it was from an adverse reaction to his medication, resulting in his neighbor getting seriously hurt.
