Dude i have been doing this for two months every day, before i could barely throw a kick at the chest, now i can throw hard kicks at the face. Incredibly useful workout. Thank you.
For real?
How is it now?
@@CriticallyGnart just try it yourself, doesnt hurt to try it
How is it going y'all?
@@KettvnenI know this is a late reply but I hate when people say this. It does hurt to try lol. It’s 20 minutes long and some of us don’t have much time or have other things to train
Lol the sound you made when talking about kicking like Bruce lee 😂
Wak
I needed to repeat it to be sure he actually did that
Sounds like a chicken

That’s funny I had to rewind it one more time before the video was over.

This is yoga for violent intentions 😂
Shane the dark yogi
That put a smile on my dog face. Thanks!
Soft voice: I want you to sit in a comfortable position and close your eyes. Good job. Breathe deep...feel your diaphragm expand.
Now I want you to visualize a person in front of you. It can be anybody. Can you see them? You are doing great.
Imagine the person is transparent and you can see their 7 chakras. Each with their distinct colors. Red...orange...yellow....up to the crown violet. Awesome work you are doing great.
Now I want you to get up...open your eyes while still visualizing this transparent person. Lift up your right foot....AND KICK THE CHAKRAS OUT OF THEM!!! 7 lightning fast round house kicks comeon!!! Send him to nirvana. You...are...helping...them!
🤣
@@arielperez797 This had me rolling 😂
Bro as a 43yr old former kickboxer that's getting back in the game to teach my three boys the importance of martial arts, your stuff is gold. It keeps me in the game

I just finished this workout now. I’m a Taekwondo black belt who went into competitive powerlifting for a bit to increase strength potential. I got a 435lbs deadlift, 250 bench and 385 squat @145lbs bodyweight. And this workout was probably harder than anything I’ve done 😂 Awesome job, Shane! I’m gonna keep doing this routine on my off days
We have scary similar total lmao your dead is 20lbs. higher tho, cheers!
@@marksman1973 My deadlift is definitely way lower now after this quarantine, haha
At 145 lbs?!! Damn! That's good.
I remember 50 years ago when I thought I was the "Greatest" because I was into power-lifting - 300 bench and squat and 400 deadlift at 165 lbs. Then I joined a local karate school (dojo). After 30 minutes of their warmups and calistentics, I was ready to heave up a lung. What a rude awakening for me - the "Greatest". After that first 30 minutes, I still had another 90 minutes to go for sparring and kata practice. It hurts just to think about it.
@@STBRetired1 That’s how I felt going into my local Muay Thai gym but I don’t regret it at all
Dayum he moves like a character from tekken
My hamstrings were keeping me from kicking high. So, I cut my hamstrings and can now kick to the face. Unfortunately, I can't bring my leg back to the chambered position. Seriously, though, these exercises will make a person aware of muscles they never knew they had. I've only seen ballet dancers with such control over their leg muscles but Tae Kwon Do practitioners come in highly rated, too.
I’ve been needing this I’ve been trying to learn head kicks again
Same man i used to do taekwondo but i stopped after a year and a half
Amd 1 year later i gor into boxing and didnt practice my kicks now i cant do shit with my kick i can kick but the form is so wrong good luck with you man
ARIAN THE ASSASIN that’s literally the exact same story with me except I did tkd quite a bit longer good luck to you too:)
@@henchlol1247 your also into boxing now and thanks man
Mate, this breaks down kicking methodology in very straight forward pieces. Been watching plenty of your stuff, your great when it comes to education.
Just started and I am 68 yrs old but expperieced martial artist! Will advise but definately sore after two days!
I feel stronger and quicker! Thanks Man! I will subscribe!
People like Shane are so important to the propagation of combat sports: clear explanation, relaxed demeanor, infinitely knowledgeable.
Great tutorial. I've been doing it for the last 2 weeks (2-4 times a week) and I've actually seen a big improvement in my kicks, both height and chamber! Thanks Shane!
when he said " you got to even it out, dont chicken out" my legs felt that 😂😭
Just what we needed!
Thanks Shane with no training I needed this burn in my legs and that last bit about body positioning was goldust much appreciated 👍
Shane's kicks are really beautiful. Perfect form, perfect control.
Love from France !
Yeah… I started karate at 37. Next month will be 10 years. My kicks are not bad for an old man but I see him kicking and I’m drooling. Such beauty. I am still striving to get there, which is why I’m here learning!!
Love that Shane still has solid TaeKwonDo skills as a Muay Thai guy. ,He is incredible technique. High level.
He has done taekwondo long time ago
Hoping no one will try to bully me again, when i learn how to fight.!
Goodluck bro. Enjoy the confidence that comes with knowing how to fight. But remember to stay humble and responsible with that knowledge
"A warrior's worst enemy is himself." Remember that. Try to control your emotions. I always remind myself, "calm body, clear mind."
Remember meagi do karate is for defense only Daniel son. Balance
And most people today when they lose a fight have guns and people just dont care anymore so be careful just dont go looking for trouble but if it happens to find you then your ready
Hey kid, are they still bully you?
Shane really did the bring it around town from spongebob
Hey, I just discovered your channel just the other day and honestly I've learned a lot. Hoping to learn more! Thanks for all of this. More power to your channel!
This was great, man! Felt fantastic after doing it! Been a while since I did TKD training, and you had some good ones in here that I hadn't tried. Thanks for the great tips as always!
thank you so much! I'm a beginner in Muay Thai and having trouble with my kicks even though i have the flexibility. this workout helps me to train the balance and the muscles required for these kicks
Love the content man. Really helped me with staying in form while off :)
These are one of the best kick drills for balance and forms I've seen.
Thank you Shane for your videos... it helps me a lot. Keep uploading your videos. Thanks!
I lift weights at the gym, and I jog, and I do a decent amount of cardio, but learning how to do this, and strengthening kicks is so freaking hard compared to my other workouts. I love it....thanks!
Ah yes was literally just thinking of creating one of these for myself; looks like you did it for me!
Dude....
He's gooooodd!!!😵😵😵
Shanes work ethic is out of this world.
3 types of commentors on the vid:
1. Make vid related joke.
2. Thank Shane for the awesome super long video.
3. Ask Shane to cure their broken leg.
Today was amazing. My favorite day from the series.
This is just what I’ve been looking for. I am 73, getting back into it. Thanks
As always, some very good tips in this one especially the stretching part at the end.
I love your videos! Thanks for putting in the work for us!
I've been taking online kick boxing lessons on this site for awhile. I bought my first pair of kick boxing gloves last year. Happy I stumbled across your channel, especially in this 2020's decade.
This is such an incredible workout!
I did that yesterday, really makes your hips etc. burn.
Bro really appreciate what you're are doing. It's really helpful.
Thanks for Share! Bless from Guatemala city, Central America

Awesome tips Shane cheers
I've been getting a bit rusty being away from training, this will help a lot as I used to be really flexible in the kicks. happy kicking
Thank Shawn I’m going to implement this over the next monrh
Incredibly useful workout. Thank you.
His warmup was my workout. Nice.
Sick. Thank you.
Thx I really needed that
As a Taekwondo 3rd Dan, I confirm that this sick workout is pretty much the fastest way to better kicks, whatever your level at kicking is...
Thanks for the great and complete video ! Don’t forget to let your body rest at least a day after, so you avoid injuries : if you’re not used to doing these exercises your body’s going to take a real shock and will need to “repair” enough first...
if you’re not used to doing these exercises.....u`ll die :) ,....keep the leg high, for 10 secs after kicking...dude, that is reaaaaaally hard. But the video it`s suuuuuuper useful and thanks Shane for doing this !
This vid looks like a good condensed if You had to see one single vid to stretch ...
You're awsome, thx Shane
Thanks man
Love isolation exercises, that's the best way to improve!
This was incredibly helpful oh my God thank you. I can't train in my dojang during the winter seasons and this is exactly what I need and I can tell this is authentic, the advice really clicks too. You're amazing dude. 👏 I'm an orange belt working to green and this is just great for me right now I needed this
Awesome drills.. thank you
Shane - I barely was able to get to the10 reps / 10 seconds for all the exercises...yet I am sweating and my legs are feeling tense like I just did 10 heavy sets of max weight dead lifts and squats. Thank you!!!!
This is gold!
thx alot man your truly underated thx for your kind heart to teach this to us for free
Love the videos man you rock peace from maine great to work out with the lockdowns
Excellent video family.....Real talk.Salute👊
Great tips! Thanks!
Every video what u make is extraordinary. It focuses on something and if we truly follow, can make the best use of it for sure.
Thanks for perfect video
Great video! I forgot about some of these. By the way! 0:47 that is beautiful form on that sidekick!! You can tell Shane has been loving the sidekick and throwing them a lot, and working on them a lot, he’s mentioned the sidekick a bunch in a lot of the videos in the past few months, as far back as the Stephen Thompson sparring video. 😆😄 maybe it’s was that session that sparked that!
Great video! Thank you!
I was born with hyperextended knees so I usually struggle trying to do leg workouts properly, especially with throwing proper kicks, but your steps were really easy to follow! Although I did struggle a quite a lot on my first try, I can feel my leg muscles work and that makes me satisfied so I’m not giving up!
Thank you for your workout video, I’m going to do this as many time as I can each week! 😄
Hi, awesome training, I did it yesterday and I can definitly feel it today. One thing missing though : stretching the glutes afterward (yes it really hurts today ^^). Thanks again for your awesome content as always
thanks for the vedio .. i was waiting for this
Def felt the burn

I didn't realize being flexible in low torso helps a lot in high kicks.. after doing this my head kicks feels way better.. thanks shane👍
