as a long time low elo support: emotional support, keeping the team mental up and poking fun at the enemy are also support duties that (like vision) can be done by the whole team

I’m pretty convinced that Diamond is the true elo hell. Everybody is so egotistical, they genuinely think they deserve challenger or some shit, but they can’t get there bc their teammates are holding them down, when in reality, they have the mentality of low elo players where you make decisions based on your emotions instead of seeing things objectively and finding ways to improve your gameplay beyond micro mechanics.
Like notice how the Diamond players keep saying “you suck why didn’t you do this?” while Pekin says “damn, sucks that they did that, how can I still make the most of this bad situation?”
Back when I was not washed up, the climb always felt the worst at plat 1/ dia 4. It's like prime spot for undeserved ego. I think partly because people get boosted to d4 who REALLY think higher of their gameplay than they perform.

@@pocketqueens830 yeah you’re right. In my elo (low gold) there’s still toxicity but the games don’t feel unplayable or mentally taxing like they are in Diamond. I feel exhausted just watching the chat in pekin’s Diamond games lol
I came back to game after ~8 months of not playing (wanted to play with friends that's the only reason otherwise i would never come back) , played one game of SoloQ and instantly got told to KM$ , jump out of window etc. I went to check the ranks of people that i was matched with and they were freaking d4-d2 , i wasn't even surprised that they said that i was more surprised that we somehow won that game. The community is so toxic that it takes the enjoyment of the game to play alone , if you don't have friends to play it i recommend quiting.

For an off-meta pick, I think you should give Navori Quickblades Renata a shot! You get perma uptime on W so you have the constant attack speed buff and you're guaranteed the Fight for your Life if you drop below 0 HP in a trade.

@@Pintomino I'm not Pekin, I suck hard, but I played skarner top and it was legit the worst lane experience I've ever had, and I played Yuumi mid/top before. Pekin said he's not playing ww mid because it will be too hard to pull off in these higher elos, so I really doubt he will ever play skarner mid.

You should try Fizz Support. I've only been playing it in low elo but when it works, it stomps. Now that most of his mana issues have been solved thanks to buffs to mana over time, he can take Spellthief's and First Strike to profit off of every engage. Your E at lv 1 and 2 is surprisingly potent at winning trades if you can hit the enemy ADC with it and then back off through the minion wave with your passive, making it harder for the opposing support to hit you with skillshots on the way out, and then at lv 3 you have this safe, nasty poke that can pivot into a huge damaging all-in at any moment, forcing the enemy ADC to play extremely safe if they want to move up to the wave to farm.
Even as early as lv 3 you're able to half health the enemy carry or support on your own, sending them back to base and probably forcing a flash. After that, you can roam into their jungle and try to surprise them on their way back to lane before they reach their tower to chunk them again or even kill them if your jungler works with you.
Items wise you can rush Liandry's Torment because it applies its burn effect on every tick of Fizz's W, or you can rush Rylai's because it's cheap and the slow interacts the same way. Now that Imperial Mandate can be bought alongside your mythic, you can have Liandrys/Rylais/Mandate for a really debilitating W burn over a total of 6 seconds for even touching your opponent with a single auto attack. And of course, at lv 6 Fizz can kill almost anyone in lane if he lands a big shark by himself.
Your E slow is actually a lot better for peeling than some might realize. E onto enemy champs as they step up to hit your ADC, tap them with a W + ignite and watch them panic, and then Q out either through the enemy support or a minion to try and escape. Exhaust on Fizz is actually sleeper OP as well and it can really ruin your enemy jungler's day if they try to commit to hitting you or your carry.
If you're taking too much damage you can go off-tanky with Sunfire cape and Abyssal Mask, both of which work really well alongside your liandrys burns, but I usually just end up grabbing Demonic embrace and then typical Fizz items like Lich Bane and even more cdr like Cosmic Drive.
Morgana or Karma mid next will be interesting. Karma used to be so op mid one year ago, and Morgana used to be played mid in pro play like three years ago, I am wondering if they still work.

Morg mid is just trash, obviously pekingod could get ahead but yeah she struggles to clear waves until liandries, is reliant on landing q to do DMG, and black shield is niche. I wish if minions died on her w she would gain mana, like brand/malzahar/old swain
Morgana still works just max W and accept you'll have to play a more supporting role. Karma mid is just a safe snoozefest champion.

The idea: Electrocute, Bork, and Kraken all proc in 3 attacks. Eclipse procs in 2 attacks. Panth's Empowered W is a point and click stun that allows you to do 3 attacks instantly. So basically, use Empowered W and auto. Boom, instant burst.
W also counts as a 'dash', meaning that it trigger's the passive on Prowler's Claw. And since W is also an ability, it trigger Essence Reaver. So when you reach these 2 items after your core build, you don't even have to change your gameplan. Literally press W (While its empowered) and delete anyone. This s*** is honestly hilarious, squishes won't even survive to be hit by your Q lol.

As someone who doesn't play, but watches Pekin because I like watching masters of the craft work, my guilty pleasure is the ego's of the players. I personally love the videos that have teammates either flaming each other or the other team. I fucking love that shit man hahaha. No other person schmoves like Pekin and Im here for it. I’ve been having a lot of success with Viego mid. Conquer runes with second wind/Doran’s shield keeps you healthy against heavy poke while you hide in your mist. I usually go full crit like Kraken>Shieldbow>Galeforce(for mobility) or IE(for damage).

Try Zyra jungle!!! The plants are really usefull to do a very healthy clear

The jungle item heals you based on your missing Health, so clearing unhealthy is usually not all that bad (if you dont get invaded)... it also makes t better if you manage to hold your potion till after your first clear

Ooooo, this videos AD Zoe makes me think of an on-hit Zoe build. You go lichebane and maybe static shiv, you can get some AP and maybe movement speed runes to help you kite. Def not meta but still doable and does some decent damage

Urgot Jungle is a meme and actually good. Extremely fast clear and a slow/short range stun for ganks. Also decent dueling for invading or defending

I'm playing in Plat 2 elo and every ~3 games someone gets tilted and starts hard flaming, griefing or AFKs within the first 5 minutes. I'm not exaggerating lol. Playing a scaling champ is more like playing vs your team's mental than the enemy team.

Yes and no supports roam because ultimately supports are the characters who do not need levels to be effective at their job. It is not as big of a benefit I'd it's with a nilah from how her passive works but what usually ends up happening is the support rotates puts pressure on mid their jungle what have you all the while the adc let's the lane shove in and freezes being kept safe bu the fact that the enemy support either has to counter roam or the adc and support will be a level behind since the adc is getting solo experience.from their it's a recall for health and items or keep going to invade their jungle or gang top.
I think that malphite was among the weakest mentals I have ever seen. would love to see sona mid in the future.

When people refuse to group, the best thing you can do is just walk at them. If Malph goes top, you just go top as well. You're losing either way, so you might as well just send it down a lane as 5 and see what happens. That way you don't give the Malphite the satisfaction of controlling the game at least.
Well, good thing he didn't do that, because that way they kept at least a little bit of map and objective control and made sure they could win if the Malphite were to start playing again at any point.
Banking everything on an unfavorable coinflip because of a teammate trolling is effectively giving them control over the game.
Keep playing as good as you can while considering your trolling teammate as a very unbreliable and weak part of the team gives you way more options.
