- I've been wanting to do a day in the life for so long now!
I hope this video shows you what a typical Friday is like for me - I decided to film that day because the weather was just so good!! Which is probably the most unrealistic thing about this vlog.

Hey, awesome video! I'm hoping to apply this year, and I was wondering how your pre-interview test was carried out as the interviews were online? It would also be super cool if you could do a tour/video about the portfolio/personal statement that you got you into Cambridge? Thank you so much!
Hi alic! It was quite anticlimactic for us since we had them online - but that definitely made it less scary. I'm not sure about next year - but I'd hope they are in person, because it's a once in a lifetime experience and its a shame we didn't get to do it.
In terms of the portfolio and personal statement, I'm part of the arcsoc (arch society) welfare and access team for next year and we're creating a new website where you'll be able to find all the information in one place! I'm spending a lot of time right now, writing things up and I'll defo make a video on it when its up and running (hopefully in the next few weeks).

Hi Patrick great video!!! I’m in year 12 and I’m definitely going to study architecture I’m currently doing Alevel fine art and design, digital photography and maths could you give advice on portfolio? And I’m looking to get into Cambridge🤞🏾any advice on how to pass my alevels to get in?😭😂
Hi Naomi, I hope it’s all going well! In hindsight I’d say that a demonstration of several different mediums as well what you’ve done outside of school goes a long way. Also, extra reading is always a great thing to talk about during the interview. There are lots of people on RUclips giving advice and examples of successful portfolios so those are probably the place to look in my experience - I wish you all the best!!
hi! im in year 11 and really want to do architecture - for my a levels i picked art, history, philosophy, im getting 7's in maths gcse but dont think i would manage it for a level do think i can still get into cambridge for architecture without maths a level?
You should check Cambridge's requirements specifically for subjects.
@@suzzeth5577 i have and it says that you dont need maths a level but need it to a good gcse standard

Hi Zoe, sorry I haven’t checked on the channel in a while - it’s as you say, maths A Level isn’t a requirement and I have a few friends who haven’t taken maths either. I wish you all the best with your application! (The portfolio and personal statement are the most important imo)
