    I’m an architecture student pursuing a Masters in Architecture online. It is so much work and stress, but overall fun. When you are tired, listen to your body. You will be a great architect.

      OMGG I finally have someone who feels the same way as mee!!! Yeah but like I just wanna stay up all night just by doing my projects in the studio and be busy all the time. Even tho I know that when the time comes I will be very stressed and just wanted to end cuz that’s how human are. But I just wanna be free and just be responsible. Sorry for my rant I am just exited to see some one have the same dream as me I can’t wait for it tho bc I am 14 year old so I have to wait a lot not really but for me yess lol byeee. And btw are you an army???? Bc I saw your pfp and if you are I am one to💕💕

    I'm about to start architecture and I had 2 questions, 1) what is finals like? from what I can gather from youtube is its just projects, are there written exams with case studies and maths? 2) what is the maths like? Maths isn't my strong point and everyone says the maths is challenging, I like calc but that's it

    • @lico9112
      @lico9112 2 года назад +5

      The finals in the main subjects ( design , free hand ) depends on your work all along the year , and maybe they do (daysketch) to give you more points ,, but the other subjects will be normal exams ,
      The maths is very important and you'll need to calculate every step in your project , but it will be less stressful than the maths in school

    • @glorykuk

      1. Mostly projects and written coursework/portfolios. I only had 2 exams in my first year. (But this is just Bartlett UCL)
      2. There are almost no maths in my course (again, I'm only speaking for Bartlett UCL) I also really like maths (I did further maths in A-Levels), but my course didn't have that much!

    You are living my dream! I want to be an architect and study it at UCL too. However, I'm not very familiar with the exact learning techniques the uni uses, so sorry if this is a dumb question 😭 but what exactly is a crit/tech tutorial/clinic?

    Hi I just wanted to know when you present your projects to the class how often would you have to do that? Because my confidence is very low and I’m not that good at speaking in front of lots of people. Do you think it’s still possible for me to go into architecture?

    • @pani4295
      @pani4295 Год назад +3

      im on week 3 of architecture school and personally for me, presenting your work takes place often. but in my case the class is broken up into smaller sections (maybe 20 people) and when presenting you will be presenting mostly to your instructor so it's not as overwhelming as presenting in front of a whole crowd of people.

    • @glorykuk
      @glorykuk  Год назад +3

      I think it will always be possible! Confidence is just a muscle you will need to keep training as times go by. You present your projects in front of a panel maybe 1-2 every term depending on your school, but when you go into the workplace I would assume you need to present your ideas anyways so this is a good training! :)

    Hi, Glory! I want to study architecture, as an international student from a West African country. I've already done one bachelor's course in a subject that's totally unrelated to architecture (agriculture), but I really, really want to do this. My concern is that I have almost no experience with anything related to architecture apart from my own fantasy drawings and interest in the subject. It seems like everything is very technical from the very beginning so I was wondering if it's possible for someone like me, with no technical knowledge, can even gain admission to a school for this course, let alone succeed in it.

  • @RawPowerliftingStrength

    how hard is architecture school in your opinion? And did you prepare the year before going to uni? Im considering it but need to prepare I guess. And is it always a masters or can you do a bachelor in architecture? Subscribed

    • @glorykuk
      @glorykuk  2 года назад +3

      I would say it's decently hard because of all the effort and feeling like the things you do are never enough. I didn't prepare anything, just went in blind hahaha. You can still work with a bachelor, but need to study 7 years if you want to be licensed architect.

    • @RawPowerliftingStrength

      @@glorykuk yeh, I saw it was ranked very high on the hardest studies. I thought you only needed 5 years. 7 sounds to much.
