Dominic- Merlino wasnt expsing hs nephew to gamblng. His nephew does fantasy football which basically every kid does. Merlino also isnt talking about crimes.. The armor truck theft was from the early 1980’s. Also regarding Paciello , you actually believe Merlino would assault someone in a sports areana with 20 thousand people and Tv camera’s all over!! C’mom, you dont really think that. Of course he has to walk away. Thats not getting punked. He also is NOT the boss. Its also 2023 and the mob is dead. Let the guy make a living. He is as stand up as they come.
I agree. The whole "no mafiar boss should be on the RUclips" thing because he's legit and the rest are narcs? Let's move on Dom and no more Skinny J talk.
Best episode you did. I'm from Pelham Bay. I knew a lot of these people growing up as a teenager in the 90's. We used to ride BMX bikes, hit Villa Barone for a slice, BBQ in the park. It was mostly Italian/Irish back then. I'll also mention that one of the reasons the mob faded out A LOT was because the ethnic change in all 5 boroughs and simply the Italians moving to Long Island/New Jersey/Florida etc. You don't have white kids growing up in urban environments anymore like we did. The streets bred em.
Hey Dom. All this Pelham Bay talk got me hungry for some good Zeppieri cookies. It’s still there and the cookies haven’t changed. Before I left I went into a chicken store and behold. A mustache Pete! WTF? Then I realized it wasn’t mafiosi. It was some Ecuadorian lady working the counter. For a minute I thought I was going back to the future. Grow up? No I won’t.
The Giglio feast in Harlem on pleasant ave was called the “Our lady of Mt. Carmel” feast. Participated in that feast in the early 2000’s when It first came back. There is an Our lady of Mt. Carmel feast in Williamsburg Brooklyn with a Giglio too.
I'm own a construction company and when we do Residential I don't even see children outside. I work in some of the best and worst neighborhoods, so it's not a class thing. People don't even open their front doors anymore. Obviously air conditioning has a lot to do with that oh, but it does create a closed-door policy! At the end of the day the children are what unify the neighborhood. Back in the day that's how you knew your neighbor's three streets over. THE KIDS!!
problem now is cops and karens. kids been playing video games at home since the 80s, but now you get in trouble if you go outside. the city parks only have foreigners now that don't know any better.
Any patch of woods was our clubhouse...Hunting grounds...Forts..Dom . Did you guys Jump ramps on your motocross bicycle 🚲? We were obsessed with that. I would put on all my Football Equipment and jump any size ramp and crash....Dom, we called that "Skitchin." In the snow ❄. My older Brother, Bart 7 yes older would have me drive up and down the sidewalk on my bike in full football gear and try to knock me off the bike with superhard football spirals...We grew up rough & tumble...The Way American Boys should!! Matt NYC
@mattsweeny3957 by us in Queens it was Cunningham Park in Bayside that has what we call "the jumps". Dirt ramps in the woods that nowadays mostly freestyle bikers use. There's no more motorbikes in those woods but everything is now maintained by mountain bikers that came from highland Park in Brooklyn. It has been turned into an officially recognized National mountain biking trails.
Dominic, I currently live in the Bronx and I grew up in Brooklyn. I turn 59 today and I want to thank you for the memories. Wiffile ball, stick ball, ringolevea and all those games we played as kids even skullsie. We had a community that was tight and all the parents knew all the kids. Adults would reprimand us, not today. Everyone knew everyone and if you acted out you heard it and then you would get home and really hear about. Do you remember Stanley brooms? Broom stick was metal and mom would swing that broom and get us. Today parks are empty, kids don't play in the streets anymore and yes sometimes people don't even know their neighbors nor care too. If we could go back to those innocent days again Dom. Keep up the great content. Thanks. Gilbert Alicea NYC
CoolLoutac...yes..I remember those Vinny F from Hollis used to rip through their on his Honda XR 75..late 1970s early 1980s. My older Brother Bart was an All Football Star at St Francis Prep. He does seem like a guy that's pretty funny to hang out with though.

@mattsweeny3957 I don't know the guy so I am not personally saying that he isn't tough, but guys like Dom are physically bigger, stronger, etc Remember that they don't have weight classes in boxing, wrestling, MMA for nothing. Pound for Pound Merlino may in fact be a very tough guy with his hands. But in that life, it's also how dangerous you are, just because you're a smaller guy doesn't mean that you can't be dangerous and to become a Boss, well that says it all right there, not someone I want to f with if I'm in the life. But I am qualified as a civilian to say from watching his videos, a guy that you could have a lot of laughs with in a restaurant. 🤣
Yes Dom, looking forward to your comments on this. @@GuidoLuzzi dude is a loser he literally got beat up on video
Lmao don’t compare John jr’s 6 pages of 302’s which hurt no one and had absolutely nothing on anyone still alive to you and your kinds 1000’s of pages and endless testimonies. He’s the only one who genuinely wanted to leave the life and had to sit down so they knew he was genuine after he beat them in 4 cases so they would leave him alone unlike you and every other clown who would love to still be in the life right now but was scared of a cell after the first sight at life. None of you have changed, atleast there’s one who doesn’t blame others.
1 page or 1000, a rats a 🐀
@TonyBlush that wasn’t anything close to the point but ok. He’s the only one that did it because he wanted to leave.
