The sheer logistics of moving, placing, and setting up that much structure is unimaginable!
Never mind the logistics and organization. Those are nothing compared to the excessive bureaucracy, special interest group interference, lobbying and politics that goes into such a project.
Thanks for giving the dubbing voice of English as it create the interest to see the documentary continuously rather than checking the subtitles for foreign languages they speak in between.
You really ought to do a doc on the new Brandenburg Airport, in Berlin. I've heard it's a marvel of German precision.
I know what you did there...🤣🤣🤣
Nice one 😂😂😂😂😂
Haahaa, it’s so overdue it looks retro now. Meanwhile, back in the UK I think I’ll be dead before they build London Heathrow’s 3rd runway! (I’m aged 7 btw). And that will just be a Band-Aid. 😂
The problem with berlin is the many foreign companies that have not always worked properly, the airport should have been built only by german companies, but foreign companies were cheaper and now the construction is becoming more expensive.
So much shade. Love it 😂
Um canal de documentários excelente. Adoraria ter esse conteúdo dublado em porruguês do Brasil.
This place is going to be beautiful. I'd love to go and see it! Germany has always been on my bucket list.
Frankfurt Airport is already HUMONGOUS!! Hope to visit the new terminal when finished.
Realy I like it
Not sure if it is really Europe's largest construction project. There are a few huge rail projects. For example Crossrail in London and there is the tunnel below Fehrmann Belt.
The Grand Paris Project has that honor, with a price tag of 40 billion euro, scheduled for completion by 2030. 4 new metro lines will be built, and 2 existing ones extended. All told, a whopping 80 news station will be added to the system.
Hello could you do a follow up on where it has reached currently.
3:28 I just realised is this not the same narrator as Kurzgesagt's?? 😱😱🤯
Being a project manager myself. I gotta say, the general project manager is a fucking boss. Juggling all of these tasks, wonder how much sleep he gets. Good fucking job, underappreciated
Warum schreibt ihr nie in die Description, wo die deutsche Version zu finden ist?
Genau!
Sent cargo through this airport for 5 years
Liebherr 😍😍
Subtitle in portuguese, please!!!
Baby TeSla kingDom 😍 Wow 😍

If Berlin Brabdenburg Airport is any indication, the new terminal will come on line a decade late and 3 times the original budget 😅
It's not an indication, as the construction of BER was severly mismanaged which isn't the case with Frankfurt airport.
@mstrmren what about Stutgat 21? What's your excuse for that? It's also a decade late and 3 times over budget. And to add insult to injury, there is no light at the end of that German engineering tunnel. 🤣
@@tally1604 Stuttgart21 is a highly difficult engineering project. I don't know anything in recent Germany infrastructure-history that comes close to the complexity of Stuttgart21. BER was just pure stupidity as we know it from the Berlin and Brandenburg governments.
@mstrmren and yet Grand Paris Project, 5 times larger and 4 times more expensive, is expected on time and under budget. But I guess the poor French are not blessed with the German gift of precision and efficiency.
@@tally1604 yup, defo seems like that. especially considering their engineers can't even build new airport terminals without collapsing :D
Every airport in Germany is made of flat roofs, can't they have something different like what we see in Turkey, China or Singapore...
😂They cant even match Banglore T2 Terminal of India.
It's possible in autocratic countries, but i prefer to live in freedom.
Bro who cares about the roof , like my guy german engineering is on top , we dont need some extravagent designs
This is a country where people frown at you because you intend to make a card or online payment. Nothing goes out of fashion in Germany...
@@arjunraj823In India, they can build magnificient terminals but never learn to provide a quality experience. It has been last 3 years visiting India, sometimes even taking 5 hours in queue for immigration. Later wait in queue to get your baggage scanned to leave customs. In Frankfurt, never been stopped by any customs after a bag pick up, they actually already know who has what in it. Flat roof or not, I only care for 15 minute time from plane to hight speed train station and soon arriving my destination.
Hopefully not a catastrophy like in Berlin Brandenburg Airport. It was a shame on Germany
Hellooooo🎉

✈✈✈✈😍😍😍😍♥️♥️♥️♥️❤❤❤❤
Are the Germans not doing something similar at Stuttgart airport with high speed rail and autobahn links?
@@gerhardma4297 Yes I think Amsterdam, Frankfurt and Paris are aiming to be the main European hubs and Heathrow London will decline in importance having no high speed train links and an incredibly expensive train link to central London, Tube and Crossrail connection cheaper but slow.
Why does it work because it has too!
We can only help the drug dealers, on this combune!!
Why being racist? EU & NON EU citizens?
How is that racist?😂
If your going to release it in America speak English and use American measurements.
Its a german documentary , they're just translating no standard english not american bs
Hallo
17:41 is the most german part of the documentary.
Yeooo gtfo 😂😂😂😂😂😂
😅😅😅😅
Füzyon Reaktörü Projesi?
Why, why, why do so many of these documentaries have music playing underneath that compete with the narration. It’s so nice when it briefly stops. Everyone making documentaries should watch a few of Ken Burns’ films. Don’t imitate him but, for everyone’s sake, learn how you can make films where the sound doesn’t fight the images. And props to this one for employing translators instead of subtitles. Many people view such shows on their phones from time to time
...and subtitles can appear terribly small. Too small for comfort.
I hope they are not using the same project manager(s) as Berlin Brandenburg did.
Fraport is very professional. Have experience since years. In Berlin the politicians build, the end we all know 😅
Sir, this is not Berlin.
Das ist mir schon klar; war nur Ein Witz.@@gerhardma4297
Well, @Batterseapowerstation cost 1.9 billion pound too,
No 1440p
Job do
I was there for the opening of Terminal 2 and I'll be there for the opening of Terminal 3. Drove alongside it in an airport passenger bus last month. It is huge!
Has it been finished.
@@miguelotieno3573 Not even close. I think they said in 2025 so it will be 2026 or later for sure. Nothing gets finished on time here!
@@MrGrumpy1 ooh thanks for the information at least on your country they are been build in mine they will take ages before building begins.
When was terminal 2 opened?
@@drewjamila3868 Sometime in 1994.
Promo SM 😩
finally
😁😁🤣🤣🤣🤣
Funny how you allow comments on this sort of film but as soon as you show a "middle east propaganda" one you turn comments off? Oh I forgot, "you are not allowed to criticise anything I...l related"
