Great review, definitely agreed on the capped stack. I am enjoying the Night Star GMT variant , so much elegance for the cost to your point! The bracelet (sans clasp) itself is truly next level!
They’re attempting Seiko dials without the equipment, engineers, designers, finances, and general ish of Seiko. It shows. The applied markers, hands, case, and bracelet are all ok. The dial is kinda tryhard; a miss. Simple sunburst, gloss, and matte dials are the way forward, because they’re in over their heads with these attempted Seiko / GS dials. Whilst no Seiko fanboy, I maintain that Seiko is the best dial manufacturer in the industry. To meet Seiko’s quality is a tall order. Perhaps impossible for *most* micros. My subjective perspective; feedback on it will be appreciated.
The make very nice watches, I have the white snowflake 😇, same quality, finish and very comfortable.. and they always make cool rotors in their watches 👌🏻
Good video and review! I contemplated purchasing from this brand when they were selling in the $300’s. I don’t think I will purchase now that they are in $500’s. They are a nice looking watch. They look too bulky. Now that the watch is over $500 you would think they would invest more into the clasp and movement 🤷🏻♂️
Thanks, helped me decide against it. Too much texture, looks like a scrap of lawn clippings. Citizen is doing better GS impressions at the moment, their Forza is actually cheaper than this, and in titanium. I did get Hitori's snowflake style, and again, disappointing dial, looks like a counter top lol. Especially at their prices, they need to source a new fabricator for dials if attempting to be ambitious.
