Great Visuals and Audio! Amazing performance by Monsieur Perine and wonderful work by the mix and master engineers, especially given recording in such an open environment! Any else catch that mic bump at 2:41? Still sounds great! Listening from Sennheiser PXC 500's with noise cancellation on. Interestingly, I didn't catch that bump on the HD600's but I was listening in the daytime with much noise bleed. Anyone else catch other recording blemishes?

Sounds good! In general I like my UA system, it is a more complex system than what is being used here. Biggest issues are Pro Tools integration and headphone mixes. I would like to know what your workflow is for the headphone/monitor mix during tracking? Thanks

My respectful and subjective opinion:
In recording: Is it just me or do you hear a clipping in the chorus with the back vocals? It makes a strange and unpleasant addition compared to the sonority established from the lead singer's voice.
In mixing: the balance of the kick drum and the basses with the general resultant makes you think a little bit of an electronic music mix; its color is totally dry and too fat in contrast with the general timbre ambience. Very artificial or very little organic. All this with the sound of the sea adds the very American "exotic" Latin character.
Could you show us what happened in the post?
Anyway, my respects for your work.

I've never had more rapid response from any manufacturers tech support, odd... I had an Apogee before this and one channel was 180 degrees out of phase. Compared it wit half a dozen other interfaces. Great Pod cast mics, if that's what your into....
Sounds flat, i do not feel that "Caribbean island" flare at all.
