Nice. Amazing how similar these are to Lecküchner's messer disarms.
Thank you very much
With those masks it looks like the preparatory work for the shooting of a ninja flick. Nice tutorial, though👍
Thanks... all disarms knife please
Awesome content. I can see how I can add these to my own system. Are you planning something similar with knives?
Great idea.. I just might, but there’s def a lot of grey area to it as well. Stay tuned!
I love your sticks, where do you get them from? (I live in California) - Great materials as always!
I get mine straight from Philippines, but I’m sure there’s plenty of schools/groups down there who can supply you with good sticks!
Thank you for your content! Are there double stick disarms?
There are double stick disarms, but I don’t really like them. I find putting two sticks on one for the sake of disarming puts you in a tough spot. Especially if they have two sticks as well.
Question:
If one has Carpal Tunnel Syndrome in both wrists, will training become more difficult?
Personally... I think it depends. Do what you can. You may find there are things you can't do now... but you can later... or that you can never do. That should be OK in any martial arts training you do.
Ossssss
BJJ class ended two years ago my guy.
Show me double sticks disarms.
Ive done these disarming techniques for demonstration. Then i tried them on a student who held the stick tightly and was hitting me with his other arm. All flashy nonsense. Good fun but nonsense for real life. Ive since moved away from this stuff and try to keep things more real.
i've pulled number 9 in sparing it's hard but I also haven't practiced it lot, but yeah they are risky
It just means you are not good at it
Why are you wearing masks?
Ninjas
They're already in each other's space... those masks are placebos.
Will those disarms work at full speed and attacker actually fighting to keep the stick?
@@SkubySnak, these are things that you have to train and pressure test to see what has the higher rate of success. I put things in two basic categories, possibly & probably, as far as their over success rate and what is realistically likely to occur. Some techniques are more so for attribute building and some directly relate to combat.
