Preordered the Eterna knights game it looks pretty bad ass, Not into that homosexual/lesbian nonsense though. I am sick of this pushing LGBTQ stuff onto gamers, that the majority didn't ask for. Like in street fighter 6 they have this horrific transgender dude presenter in world tour mode. Capcom japan pandering to capcom america woke LGBTQ imposing politics on us straight people. As if a man pretending to be a female is the new normal. I just want to play a game free from LGBTQ nonsense. Doesn't make me a bigot or a homophobe when I simply disagree.
My top 5 most anticipated RPGs: 1. Starfield 2. Persona 3 Reload 3. Mario RPG Remake 4. Suikoden 1 & 2 Remasters 5. Baldur's Gate 3 I'm really excited to try Suikoden 1 & 2 for the first time. I passed on the series back in the day (I was an N64 fanboy), but the games look right up my alley! Oh, and I know it's known as a Rogue-lite, but Hades 2 is definitely an RPG, and it'd be at the top of the list if it was releasing in 2023.
My gaming plans have been ruined by Super Mario RPG 😂. I don't even want to know what they're announcing in September if they have a Direct to go along with their event in Seattle. I swear, if Metal Slug Tactics actually makes the deadline this year...
Two remakes instead of getting new ones. I miss the old days when it didn't have to rely on indies and remakes/remasters and we actually got new shit to play
I see Nanami on the thumbnail, I click. I really wish Konami would get on a release date already. I feel like today's JRPG crowd doesn't know how great Suikoden is due to the lack of access, and I really want to see this series come back (or at least get pc remasters for all the games)
Hi David! Sea of Stars, Baten Kaitos HD Remaster, Star Ocean The Second Story R, Super Mario RPG Remake, Granblue Fantasy Relink, and Suikoden Remaster are the ones I am super hyped for. So much rpg goodness!
All of those games look amazing, David. But I have to admit that the Suikoden games are the ones that I"m most looking forward to. I can't wait to assemble the 108 stars of destiny once again. And I'll be charting into unknown territory with The E. Chronicles game. I just hope it lives up to its predecessors.
really good recommendation on Eternights David - not heard of it before this but downloaded the demo and it's already the game I'm most looking forward to this year now so thank you!
Super Mario RPG, Star Ocean 2, Granblue Fantasy... Many have said it and I'll chip in: where am I going to find the time to play all of these, especially when the new school year begins!? Heh, at least we RPG lovers will have our plate full. Makes me feel grateful for what's to come. Thank you for the update and enjoy the summer!
What a time to be and RPG lover! Wrestle Quest is such a nostalgia trip for me, Star Ocean The Second Story R look amazing, the Super Mario RPG remake still seems to good to be true, Suikoden I & II are just absolute masterpieces and Eiyuden Chronicles is very high on top of my personal hype list. And then there's so much more, I don't even know where to begin.
Hey, David. I'm sure someone's already said it, but Atelier Marie has a new Unlimited mode where you can ignore time limits from the original release. Great list, btw!
It is really remarkable how many great games are coming our way soon. The release schedule of all these JRPGs has really been crazy since middle of last year especially. Basically everything here I want and want physically. Eternights has not gotten any physical release confirmation but I hope it does get one eventually. Also, Konami has yet to lock in whether Suikoden will have a physical release but after all these years of people getting screwed out of having a physical copy of especially the second game due to rarity and price, it would be foolish not to release a physical now. Thanks David!!!
Definitely Star Ocean. It was my first entry into the series growing up as a teen. I loved every minute of it! I can't wait to replay through some strong nostalgic feels.
Suikoden is hands down one of my favorite games … I’m so hyped for it… and also Eiuydan Chronicle and Sea of Stars look amazing!!! I’ve already preordered Star Ocean 🤩
Yo yo brother, hope all is well. I love how you're direct and seem to be yourself throughout. Also giving info and adding humor in there. Great list as well.
I LOVED Chrono Trigger, but also Xenogears. Waaay back in high school, I made an RPG with my friends, brother and teacher, based on a comic my brother and I created as kids called, "Armament of Volition". It was inspired after taking a trip to the planetarium in 3rd grade, but also Flash Gordon as our dad loved that along with his Guardians of the Galaxy comics (we got in trouble when he found out we were in his comics) lol. The game was heavily inspired by both Chrono Trigger and Xenogears... No time travel, or massive mechs to pilot though. You did travel to different planets (3) as well as a massive space city and a derelict starship, which was a huge dungeon. The main character Einar Ulrik, (born as KD7302-Kydan on his homeworld Zeta C'ial) was actually modeled after a young Roy Batty of Blade Runner, mixed with a young Souther from Fist of the North Star and a bit of Billy Idol, since the character is also a musician- the lead guitarist/vocalist to what is called a Strife Metal Band, named "Star Rekkr" lol. When I initially drew him, I thought he looked too mean and serious, which did not fit his devil-may-care sort of behavior. So I mixed Mash from Final Fantasy VI (the best Final Fantasy), into his inspiration as well as a bit of Galford of Samurai Spirits, though most all as a joke... The Chocobo, particularly the way it looked in Final Fantasy Tactics, it was the inspiration for his haircut, which is an undercut fade and it surprisingly worked! Einar's design remains a lot of the same, I had even modded him into Final Fantasy XV, though I made him much like my Red Mage and Bard of Final Fantasy XI, combined with my Gunbreaker of XIV. I had also designed him in a way, to where it looks like he could be a hidden character in a Guilty Gear game, as much of the music of that series inspired him. His ship was called "The Gradius Prime", but we had changed it to "The Starwind". A friend who had been working with us, passed away in 2011 during the Tohoku quake/tsunami. He was a huge fan of Outlaw Star and loved the character Gene Starwind. While there are serious themes in the story, there is a bit of humor as well. It is somewhat jokingly implied Einar's mother is like Samus Aran of Metroid and his father, Star Lord. This joke was inspired by the old anime Project A-ko, where it is implied her parents are Superman and Wonder Woman lol. We are currently remaking the game.
Hi David, the time limit in Atelier Marie Remake is *optional* ! I don't want you or anyone watching the video to get turned off from the game by thinking it's mandatory. Additionally, Gust team said that if *any* future Atelier games include any time limits going forward, it will just be an optional feature. :)
For me, it's easily Like a Dragon Gaiden; Yakuza is one of my all-time favorite franchises, and Kiryu's easily my favorite character, I don't care how basic that makes me. I've had my eye on Eiyuden Chronicle since it was first announced years ago, but I might have to check out Nayuta, Sea of Stars, and Granblue Fantasy, too. Sea of Stars is especially high on that list, because I loved The Messenger.
Trails into Reverie, definitely hyped for that. Already got it pre-ordered and ready to pick up. Star Ocean Second Evolution R: Looks good, and it's physical. THANK GOD! Sea of Stars: Definitely looks promising, and hope it delivers. Super Mario RPG: I've never played any of the Mario RPGs, so hopefully this one will help rectify that. Nayuta: Maybe. It's not really necessary, but I may pick it up if I'm bored, or just want a time waster. Suikoden 1 and 2: Never played Suikoden either, but hopefully these 2 go over well, because my interest is definitely piqued.
Well, thanks to your channel I learned about the trails series, and absolutely love it, I cannot wait until I am all caught up and ready for Reverie. Other than that, the wrestlequest looks silly fun. Also, I am so excited for the remake/re-releases of Super Mario RPG, Star Ocean 2, and Suikoden 2.
So many games I’m excited for. Granblue anime gave me strong FF9 vibes with the world relying heavily on airships and summons. Trails, Rhapsody, Crymachina, Monochrome Mobius, and the chance to play games I missed out on back in the day like Suikoden and Mario!
I feel like more people are getting into story-driven games. Sure, pure action and fighting games are still popular, and mobile games, idle and otherwise, are super popular as well, but they're not exclusive. Liking one doesn't preclude liking the other. There's also the Achievement mindset, which imo is just another version of "character growth." People like to see tangible rewards, and RPG's are the best when it comes to that. With all that in mind, it makes sense that more RPG's are coming out.
i love your videos - so much passionate and information in one place! i had no idea star ocean 2nd story r was coming out but now i'm incredibly excited for it!
so stoked for the Suikoden re-releases. Never played II because it is super hard to find and soooo expensive on the secondhand market, even fifteen years ago when I first tried to get it after managing to get my hands on the original. but Mario RPG, Star Ocean 2, and Sea of stars? Yes, please!
I'm glad you put Disgaea 7 in the list. The Disgaea series is my all time favorite series, and 7 is a fantastic game (played the import version). Disgaea 6 was a complete letdown to me, and by far the worst in the series, but 7 goes back to what makes Disgaea games great! As for the setting you mentioned, you'll be pretty pleased with Disgaea 7. Lots of bright and cheery locations, and I love the Japan inspired towns and villages.
@@misselthwaitemanor FFT was my all time favorite game before Disgaea released in 2003. Disgaea was similar enough to get me interested, but before I knew it I was hooked on it. The story is great, the characters are great, the game play is fantastic, there are tons of things to do, upgrade, unlock. The post-game content was also a huge bonus for me, keeping me invested in the game for hundreds of hours. As for Disgaea 7, it has a great cast and story, fun battles, tons of generic classes, lots of cool skills, new systems to add a lot of depth, like Item Reincarnation.
Being set in the Netherworld (or as you say Hell) doesn't stop Disgaea's settings from being bright and fun. It's like a setting and cast of Saturday morning cartoon villains leaning on the comedic side. It's nowhere near as bleakly designed as other Hell settings like Shin Megami Tensei.
OMG David, so many Falcom bros act like I'm out of my mind for Rean and the Harem Academy being my least favorite of the three Trails crews. By the end of Cold Steel IV, it was a great story overall, but I'm praying the Kuro arc goes with a different party dynamic. As for the rest of this, I'm especially looking forward to Star Ocean 2 and Suikoden 2 (probably aging myself right here, lmao)
I AM AN OLDIE AND IVE BEEN PLAYING GAMES FOR YEARS. IN MY LATER PLAYING YEARS I PREFER RPG GAMES. FOR ME A MUST HAVE IN A VIDEO GAME WOULD BE SAVE POINTS THAT ARE PLENTIFUL AND EASY TO ACCESS OFTEN. I ALSO LIKE GAMES WHICH HAVE A GOOD STORY, THAT ARE COLOURFUL AND BEING ABLE TO GET AROUND EASILY IS IMPORTANT. IF YOU ARE IN A DUNGEON AND YOU WANT TO LEAVE BUT YOU ARE TOO FAR IN, YOU SHOULD HAVE A SPELL OR ITEM YOU CAN USE TO ESCAPE THE DUNGEON. SUIKODEN 2 IS A GREAT ONE AND ONE OF MY FAVOURITES. I WILL WATCH THE REST OF YOUR VIDEO LATER, THANKS.
I'm a little worried for those great games that still hasn't give a release date since first half of 2023 is over already. Worst case they're going to postpone to 2024 :(
Sea of Stars, Rhapsody: Marl Kingdom Chronicles, Star Ocean The Second Story R, Super Mario RPG Remake, Granblue Fantasy Relink, and Disgaea 7 are the ones I am super hyped for.
I have no idea what I am going to do. My RPG backlog is vast. I just started the Trails series, and they are now 10 games deep, and you just went through another 20. Most of these look good to me. I need to retire early and game the days away just to catch up. I must play Super Mario RPG.
Paper Mario had 3 good games, one was just to different. And that's why they called it Super Paper Mario. I'm still not sure if Suikoden and Eiyuden will be released this year. Isn't it kinda sad for the industry if indies and remasters/remakes are leading for the most anticipated RPGs. The games I want the most are in order: Suikoden/Eiyuden, Super Mario RPG, Baten Kaitos, Star Ocean, Dragon Quest (loved the Manga), Sea of Stars, Trails into Reverie/Like a Dragon (still have to finish half of the older entries) and Rhapsody/Nayuta.
Ok can someone explain the DQ monsters games? Are these like Monster Rancher style where you collect and train them or is it more like Pokemon where you recruit/capture them and use them in your place? Love DQ but I've never touched the monster series. I'm super pumped for Eiyuden Chronicles, Suikoden remasters, Mario RPG, Star Ocean 2 R Going to be a good, but pricey, year. Also, much as I love Suikoden 1 and 2 in my opinion 5 is better than 1. But it's close in those top 3.
So DQ monsters is more like SMT that you can collect, train and combine them into a new monster without the hard gameplay and I do agree that 5 is better than 1 but even 5 can't beat suikoden 2
@@wilfridekoue1405 Nice, I can rock with that thanks. And I agree, I love 5 I do think it's close to 2 but the story of Suikoden 2 sets it apart. Really wish they'd have kept that series going they really hit their stride with 5.Here's hoping EC scratches the itch.
Pretty much all of these look like an amazing time! I was really disappointed in the Sea of Stars demo though, as I felt the overworld areas were devoid of interest and the main dungeon in the demo was hugely boring and padded out with busy-work puzzles.
Absolutely the Suikoden remaster is #1 for me. I’m cautiously optimistic about Eiyuden as well and I really hope it’s good. But what happened to the DQ3 HD-2D remake? I feel like it’s been 2 full years since that 90 second trailer and we’ve heard absolutely nothing else since.
So excited for the Star Ocean 2 remake. that was one of my fave ps1 games of all time. I remember I had put something like 60 hours into it and the memory card it was on got eaten by my roomies dog. SO angry. Glad to get to play it again on modern systems :) LOVE your channel, just subbed and watching all i can of your old vids :) thank you and keep up the great work
Same here! I backed Eiyuden Chronicle, and I've been reading the updates eagerly anticipating the game. I was really pleased with the EC: Rising side game in how it showcased how the team can make great characters with fun writing.
My top 20 new anticipated RPG that I really excited and willingly to get a chance to play this year and next are: 20. Final Fantasy 16 19. Atelier Marie (Remake) 18. Disgaea 7 (even though I just barely started with the first game I bought; but I still going to get it somehow) 17. Fire Elmblem Engage 16. Yakuza Gaiden 15. Persona 5 Tactica 14. Yakuza 8: Infinite Wealth (AKA Ichiban naked butt The game) 13. Super Mario RPG (Remake) 12. Star Ocean 2: the second story R 11. Persona 3 Reload (maybe 😒) 10. Suikedon 1 & 2 HD Remastered 9. Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes (got the first game recently 😏) 8. Dragon Quest: Monster 7. Dragon Quest: Adventure of Dai 6. Baten Kaitos 1 & 2 HD Remastered 5. Fate Samurai Remnant 4. Wrestle Quest 3. Eternight 2. The Legend of Heroes: Trail into Reverie (planning to get that game once I catch up all the Trail series from Sky to Cold Steel to two new games from Trails recently; but man oh man, this blast is going to be blast from the past.. or future.. or even present day I hope 😏) 1. Metaphors: Refantazio (this game will absolutely make Persona fans out there cry to their mommy and spill apple juice in their good pants because this will be another blast to the past from your friendly neighborhood spider… I mean Atlus to milk your money to dry you into bones 😅)
Thinking about getting the Suikoden bundle even though I still have my original copy along with the strategy guide. Although I personally would order my favorite Suikoden's II>V>I>III>IV. Star Ocean is also looking like a nice pickup. Also gonna get an rpg not mentioned here with Baldur's Gate IIIwhen it releases to console in 2 months.
Big doubt on Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes coming out this year. The monthly updates have been turbo discouraging on that front. At least there are a ton of other great RPGs coming out between now and next year to play!
“Infinite Strash: Adv. of Dai” looks sooooo good! (But I really wish the “DQ 3” remake was coming also!). I’ll believe “Granblue Fantasy Re: Link” is actually coming out when I see it with my own eyes, lol! I’ve been hearing it’s coming out for YEARS now! But definitely going to give it a play when it does! “Eiyuden Chronicles” is another must buy also. I’m a huge “Suikoden” fan, and can’t wait for this spiritual successor! I’ve already played “Nayuta Boundless Trails” thanks to emulation & a fan translation, but I loved it.
So many games!!! I also was talking to the developer of Quarter on Facebook and he said the game is coming to Switch and he's trying to get it on PS4 too!!! I'm very much looing forward to all these games basically but my standouts are: Suikoden, Eiyuden Chronicle, Rhapsody, Sea of Stars, Super Mario RPG, Quartet, Baten Kaitos and Persona Tactica
So stoked the Suikodon HD Remasters are coming to Xbox Series X. We're so starved of good JRPGs. Hopefully I can get the chance to pick up a PS5 by end of year.
Im currently playing Suikoden 1 on a PS emulator on my phone and I love it! Also have Suikoden 2 set up to start as soon as I finish the first one 😊 First Suikoden game ever played was 3 I think? On PS2 around 11 yrs ago bit didn't finish but was also enjoying it back then so I now I see the hype of it and why fans miss it so much.
David, regarding the McDonald's game players, my son tells me that they have not been able to acquire any in my wife's home region. Sorry about that. I was really hoping they could bring back a few. Perhaps in Beijing before they return...
You have no idea how excited I am for baten kaitos it’s my all time fav jrpg and it felt like a dream to hear that it was being remastered! Now I just need eternal sonata to have a comeback and my life is complete
I have "only" been playing JRPGs since about 2003 and missed out on most of the classics. Re-releases like these are what I am most looking forward to this year. Baten Kaitos and Star Ocean 2 will already locked in as day-one. Suikoden should also be a day-one purchase, but I am worried about how silent Konami is being on this release. I am not entirely sure if it will be coming out this year or not. I wonder if they are holding off in order to time it around Eiyuden Chronicle's release. Of new games, only the Adventure of Dai game has caught my interest since I absolutely loved the anime remake that aired during the pandemic. It was everything that I loved of the classic 80s/90s Jump battle series but without any of the rot that tended to plague the latter half of their runs. Highly recommended, and hopefully the game captures some of that magic.
I can't say how much that people need to play suikonden 1&2 and are must buys for anyone who hasn't played them. Its a shame that it seems to be pushed back into not sure when. Butan both 2022 snd 2023 are do rpg heavy years it brings s smile to my old face. Star Ocean 2 us a day one buy for me.
Man if I didn't have to work so much I'd probably buy up most of these and play them start to finish. Definitely grabbing P5T at least, and I hope the support for isometric turn-based convinces Altus to get working on Devil Survivor 3.
Granblue is going to be turn based...? Looks like an ARPG to me. Great list. Looking forward to Sea of Stars, both DQ games, Baten Kaitos Remakes, Mario RPG, and more.
I feel kind of bad because the games I'm most hype for are remakes. I really need to give some of these new games a shot, but there's so many to choose from!
Granblue Fantasy really does look interesting. Will have to keep an eye on it. Definitely will be getting Sea of Stars, Star Ocean remake, Suikoden remake, and already pledged for Eiyuden Chronicle on kickstarter so will be getting that too!
God damn I need these Suikoden remasters in my life in about a week or two when I'm done with Trails into Reverie. I'm long overdue for a re-play of the series, but I want to kick it off with the remasters.
Buy these RPGs and support the channel at the same time!

This year is insane. Star Ocean 2, Dragon Quests, Suikoden, Mario RPG, Sea of Stars..... I feel like a kid in the 90s again.
The golden Era. I'm playing through lunar 2 right now.

So many bangers coming out! Couple of these I didn't know about so thank you for making this list.
i love your videos - so much passionate and information in one place!
i had no idea star ocean 2nd story r was coming out but now i'm incredibly excited for it!
Suikoden and Eiyuden are at the absolute TOP of my list. The development team is beyond AAA status for what they deliver.
So much exciting stuff, Sea of Stars obviously looks amazing but I really want to play Quartet as well
so stoked for the Suikoden re-releases.
Lots of bright and cheery locations, and I love the Japan inspired towns and villages.
oh yea? what do you like about it? the lolis?
@@misselthwaitemanor FFT was my all time favorite game before Disgaea released in 2003. Disgaea was similar enough to get me interested, but before I knew it I was hooked on it. The story is great, the characters are great, the game play is fantastic, there are tons of things to do, upgrade, unlock. The post-game content was also a huge bonus for me, keeping me invested in the game for hundreds of hours.
As for Disgaea 7, it has a great cast and story, fun battles, tons of generic classes, lots of cool skills, new systems to add a lot of depth, like Item Reincarnation.
The real question, is there a bonus fight with Laharl where he tries to become the main character and steal the game?
@@Ryan-ke5uq ooooh that makes sense. Etna is p. cute though
To be able to play the hd version of suikoden 1 and 2 is a blessing for an old gamer like me and the remake of star ocean 2 is just icing on the cake
OH MY GOD THE CROSS TAILS CHARACTER DESIGNS ARE SO CUTE I WANT TO BE THE LADY IN THE WHITE OUTFIT AGGGGGGH
Worth noting that the story for The Man Who Erased His Name is parallel with Yakuza: Like A Dragon, set within the same general timeframe.
A few more games coming out later this year:
Fate/Samurai Remnant, Silent Hope, Sword Art Online: Last Recollection, Crymachina and Cuisineer.
Great list! It has been super overwhelming as of late with the amount of games that have been announced.
I feel like we are in another golden age of rpgs.
Kinda...except most seem to be re releases though I'm not complaining
Loving the open world star ocean theme music in the back ground!
Can't talk enough about how impressive SO 2 R & R looks
Ok can someone explain the DQ monsters games? Are these like Monster Rancher style where you collect and train them or is it more like Pokemon where you recruit/capture them and use them in your place? Love DQ but I've never touched the monster series.
I'm super pumped for Eiyuden Chronicles, Suikoden remasters, Mario RPG, Star Ocean 2 R
Going to be a good, but pricey, year.
I was already excited about Suikoden. You got me stoked for Rhapsody too, it gives off some Grandia I vibes doesn't it?
Pretty much all of these look like an amazing time! I was really disappointed in the Sea of Stars demo though, as I felt the overworld areas were devoid of interest and the main dungeon in the demo was hugely boring and padded out with busy-work puzzles.
Its been a little overwhelming trying to keep up with everything coming out. Greatly appreciate the list.
David100K!
So now you're 61.3k. At this rate, you would hit 100k next year o.O
So excited for the Star Ocean 2 remake. that was one of my fave ps1 games of all time. I remember I had put something like 60 hours into it and the memory card it was on got eaten by my roomies dog. SO angry. Glad to get to play it again on modern systems :) LOVE your channel, just subbed and watching all i can of your old vids :) thank you and keep up the great work
Thank you so much for that!! I hope you enjoy all the videos!
I'm a patience guy so my hype for Eiyuden Chronicle coming is still there plus taking time for the finished product would be worth it in the long run.
Same here! I backed Eiyuden Chronicle, and I've been reading the updates eagerly anticipating the game. I was really pleased with the EC: Rising side game in how it showcased how the team can make great characters with fun writing.
My top 20 new anticipated RPG that I really excited and willingly to get a chance to play this year and next are:
20. Final Fantasy 16
19. Atelier Marie (Remake)
18. Disgaea 7 (even though I just barely started with the first game I bought; but I still going to get it somehow)
17. Fire Elmblem Engage
16. Yakuza Gaiden
15. Persona 5 Tactica
14. Yakuza 8: Infinite Wealth (AKA Ichiban naked butt The game)
13. Super Mario RPG (Remake)
12. Star Ocean 2: the second story R
11. Persona 3 Reload (maybe 😒)
10. Suikedon 1 & 2 HD Remastered
9. Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes (got the first game recently 😏)
8. Dragon Quest: Monster
7. Dragon Quest: Adventure of Dai
6. Baten Kaitos 1 & 2 HD Remastered
5. Fate Samurai Remnant
4. Wrestle Quest
3. Eternight
2. The Legend of Heroes: Trail into Reverie (planning to get that game once I catch up all the Trail series from Sky to Cold Steel to two new games from Trails recently; but man oh man, this blast is going to be blast from the past.. or future.. or even present day I hope 😏)
Thankfully Atelier Marie has a mode without a time limit. I know some people love the limit but not me. This seems like a great compromise.
The life sim is kinda the point of Persona. Maybe play Shin Megami Tensei instead?
Y'all know that meme of Sabrina with the pancakes and there's too many goddamn pancakes? My wallet is sobbing.
Ah, another of those "I'm gonna buy almost everything in this video" kind of videos xD
There is so much to be hyped about!
Oh that Cross Tails is really tickling my FF Tactics itch! Definitely wanna check it out.
I really loved the Suikoden game on the DS. Tricaries...I think.
It had a lot of heart.
I love David, he keeps it real. Hes naturally funny and adorable.
I read "DQ Adventure of Dai" manga so I basically spoiled the game for myself, but I'm stoked that they made a game out of it XD
Never beat a DQ game but the new monsters one has me really intrigued
So stoked the Suikodon HD Remasters are coming to Xbox Series X. We're so starved of good JRPGs.
Hopefully I can get the chance to pick up a PS5 by end of year.
Just preordered Cross Tails. I'm super excited about alot of the games on this list. SO2 and DQM: the Dark Prince are at the top of my list.
100 heroes looks ABSOLUTELY AMAZING, BUT WHEN ????
I think WrestleQuest and Super Mario RPG are my most hyped games.
I guess it probably doesn't count as a RPG, but I am super excited for Jagged Alliance 3 coming out in less than a week.
Dq monsters, the dai game, o5 tactica, and a bunch of the other games look so good 😭❤️
Android has opened up a new outlet for classic styled turn based games. But nothing beats consoles
I am absolutely hyped for Sea of Stars. I've played the demo so many times and I want the whole game nowwwwww
Chrono trigger tunes in the background sends chills man. So nice
So many great games. I'm really excited for the Star Ocean 2 remake.
You always take me back in time David, love it! Greetings from Germany 🇩🇪🙏🏻
Are you excited for baldurs gate 3?
David, regarding the McDonald's game players, my son tells me that they have not been able to acquire any in my wife's home region. Sorry about that. I was really hoping they could bring back a few. Perhaps in Beijing before they return...
Cant wait for Star Ocean. Beat it on an emulator so many times, but those new graghics are a game changer for me
You have no idea how excited I am for baten kaitos it’s my all time fav jrpg and it felt like a dream to hear that it was being remastered!
Love the channel and getting news and heads up on games from you! Keep up the awesome work my dude.
Little feedback: Could you include chapters when uploading a video with a list?
There's a game inspired by Final Fantasy Tactics coming out at the end of this month, Atlas Ascending. It looks quite good.
I only play games on the switch atm... but most excited for SO2, mario rpg, sea of stars, and suikoden even though I want almost all of them 😅
Does eiyuden Chronicles, suikoden 1&2, granblue fantasy have actual release dates? Or is everything releasing in "2023?"
David: "Play these cool new RPGs...or I'll kick your @ss!"
Quartet looks so charming and very SNES looking. Very much on my radar. Along with Suikoden and Eiyuden Chronicles!
Ahh, my wallet is hurting just watching this. But what a great time to be an RPG fan!
God damn I need these Suikoden remasters in my life in about a week or two when I'm done with Trails into Reverie.
I'm long overdue for a re-play of the series, but I want to kick it off with the remasters.
