As far as removing Harry and Andrew's titles, I'm not sure it's up to the monarch. It may require an act of Parliament. What? Crazy overstatement. I find this obsession with her name is bizarre. Her name is Kate -her family and friends call her Kate, she was known as Kate for half her life. Her “royal name” is Catherine & she should be addressed as Catherine in working situations because nicknames are not formal enough. But that’s it.

I’m very grateful all my family and friends obliged. No one said BUT you were Patti for so long. Prince William and Princess Catherine requested that she be called Catherine. Since I have been in Catherine’s situation, I can say when you find your identity in a certain name, it is a very important request. It was never stated that she would appreciate the change of name for official purposes. I guess all these excuses make the person who refuses to respond to a person with an intimate need feel justified.
