- 🇬🇧/🇺🇸 1924 Bugatti Type 35 (cyclekart).
So, why?
The original T35 and the brand Bugatti itself are a source of inspiration for me. The car was a very successful one, in 1929 the car won the Grand Prix of Monaco.
The T-35 is a one of its kind and if I have to believe owners on the internet, there is nothing quite like this car. Unfortinately I don't have the funds to buy an original Bugatti but I am trying to recreate the feeling and experience by making this cyclekart. In addition, by making a project like this you gain a lot of knowledge and that, is priceless and no one can take it away from you.
I've spend around 400 hours on the cyclekart and it was completely worth it!

🇳🇱 - 1924 Bugatti Type 35 cyclekart.

Nice work. I love seeing your guys get out in the garage and build something cool.
Thank you Steve, I’ve learned a lot from your video’s!
Well done. Nice to watch that we still have people able to build their own cars. Regardless of that those are cyclecarts. Passion and result is what matters.
Beautiful build. Enjoyable watch. Now we need to see you racing it.
Excellent work young man.
Magnificent! Thanks for sharing your build.
Schön gemacht und sehr inspirierent. Danke für das Video.
Absolutely wonderful! Congratulations on your creativity and perseverance. What a wonderful result!!!
This just gets my fabrication habit in high gear. Inspiring work!
Thanks and good luck with your project!
Fantastic - the attention to detail is amazing. So are the many skills you demonstrate, combined with the vision and perseverence to see the project through to completion. I learned so many things watching this video - so that is how you can make louvres 🙂. Looking forward eagerly to part 3!
Thank you it really means a lot!
to me, working with my mind and hands in my shop at a calm pace is Zin, best mental health medicine on the market. sweet looking Cyclekart, I'm jealous. u defiantly showed u don't need fancy tools or machines. thank u for your time Mate.
Thank you, creating and building is really the best medicine there is. Have a great day!
This is really art, pure art..............................

Bedankt!
Super gaaf man ook mooi gemaakt ❤
You made a great mini Bugatti replica.
That is damn beautiful! 😍 Was such a pleasure seeing that take shape with only hand tools and brilliant craftsmanship 👍
Thanks you so much!
Well done! I hope that it delivers great joy and satisfaction.
piekny samochodzik, 100 razy lepiej jest zrobic samemu niz kupic oryginała - brawo
Thank you!
Fantastic Job. One day i wil have one! Congratulations. You're talented.
Well done mate.
looks great. Have fun and drive safe. 👍🐺👍
Very impressive 👍🇬🇧
Love the idea of these cars, what I don't like thou is the go-kart engines. I think something like a small capacity motorcycle engine, say the 125 Honda engine from CB125, would be ideal. Motorcycle engines have a sequential gear box which make it pretty east to make the linkage, and a small 4 stroke bike engine would sound great too.
I agree! Currently working on a new Bugatti and I am looking for a different type of engine.
brilliant job with minimal tools .But don`t forget your ear protection as you will not notice until later life. cant wait for the next one.
Excellent video
Outstanding ! 👍
Awesome build!
This is Amazing!! well done

BRAVO!
Dankjewel! Is betwijfel het, heb me daar eerlijk gezegd nooit in verdiept.
Very Nice!!!!

Been waiting for part 2! Thanks
You are welcome, enjoy! 😀
Close the cuts in the frame, after oiling, before the rust is comming!
amazing
Beautiful craftsmanship. I'm impressed!
But isn't it much too short?
Are these electrical hub motors? I'd like it to be fully electric :-)
Thanks you, for a cyclekart this length is great. Electric can also be an option, but at this moment I don’t have the knowledge yet 😀⚡️
Heel vet gemaakt man!
Dankjewel!
very well done. Beautiful project. Congrats!
Is there any cyclekart-racing in the Netherlands or Germany? I really like to see that.
Thank you! I am not sure if there are any racing-events, I would also like to see that happen in the future!
Hi mate. Nice build and you have inspired me to build one. What does it weigh?
Thank you. About the weight I am not really sure, I think around 75 to 125 kg I have to check it at some point.
I’m guessing you are from Denmark I don’t speak any language other than English , so I’m probably wrong. I love your cyclecart project !!!
I am from The Netherlands, happy you like the project!
@@JeftaDavid tot ziens was the giveaway!! brabant?
Dankjewel, Komt helemaal goed :)

were did you get your front end ? and were can i get one just like it?
You mean the leafsprings? I used old trailer springs.
no the axel ,cross piece with the spindles attached. what you attached to your springs.
@@JeftaDavid
no, i mean the axel and spindles. @@JeftaDavid
Please invest in a good respirator. You're too talented to disregard your health. Nice work. Your engineer's brain is amazing.
Will do, thank you so much for the kind words means a lot!
@@JeftaDavid the front grille looks galvanised (zinc plated). those white clouds as the zinc evaporates are deadly ........................
👍👍 _ 👍👍
A pan break would of been handy
What color is your bugatti?
Motip Carat True Blue or just French Racing Blue
Proper little car would be funny to drive this instead of a vespa clone
I will make a pedal cyclekart one day, wont have an engine, automatically changes gear, top speed view and gear view when power on, top speed 269 km/h, with bike pedals, brakes when steering wheel pressed, hill button in the steering wheel top part. Name: Schintu Tipo 1
