@@DiversionDudenot to mention the shadows are too dark for gameplay purposes. Its why a lot of maps in the newer games are cloudy or brighter. Less direct sunlight means less darker shadows. People can praise the bright blue skies in MW19 all they want, but they'll get rekted by a camper hiding in shadows or dark corners everytime.
Because people complained about it being a military sim so they toned down a lot of things and made visibility better which is good but damn I did like that realism 😢

The lighting in MW19 is still so good but also brings some visibility issues. However, the art direction of both MWII and III looks far more cartoony and flat/clean compared to MW19
I heard that with MW22, they developed a map editing tool (which leakers thought was for a forge-like mode) to streamline making new maps moving forward. I can only guess the assets and textures they have are very simplistic. The maps in MW19 look more handcrafted which the textures being very complex rather than a single color.
Anyways, the new Urzikstan map looks pretty good from the Warzone footage. The Ground War maps from the MW3 beta clearly show a downgraded version of it because the tree shaders are not working as they look flat. I imagine the final release will look better. MW2 looked better than its beta as well.
agreed I never liked how MW2 looked either. Very cartoonish style, and smooth looking textures. MWIII looks a tad better and a little closer to MW19

No lighting issues and no visibility issues either. MW19 Beta did have visibility issues but once the game released that was fixed
MW2019 was unbelievably good for CoD's standard. I played it a lot. It also had a TANK as killstrek! What a joy i had using it! And yes also Specialist Bonus.
Probably one of the worst mp experiences I've had since Ghosts. MW2022 may be slightly worse

I did yes. Hated MW2019 with a passion (along with most content creators, pro's, etc). CW was fun, vanguard was meh, MW22 is TRASH.

@@zybo1901 Yeah the movement in mw19 is fire but the graphics actually doesn't really defers from mw3 but it looks better in mw19 because of the colors mw3 feels like it has a grey filter on it
@@zybo1901 the actual lighting engine is pretty shallow. They relied heavily on bright sunlight to make the visuals pop more, but that also made the shadows too dark which hurt the multiplayer visibility. The engine just has an issue with adjusting anything under shadows because the ambient occlusion is overblown. You clown on the washed out look of the later games, but at least it's easier to see people.
The fact that everyone was complaining about mw2019 during its cycle and now wants to praise it is beyond me
I love the "GRE-GRE-GRENADE" sfx in MW3. It really gives the game an immersive feel

Hate Infinity Ward as much you want, but there's no doubt that they are the ones who always set standards when it comes to graphics, gunplay sounds etc.
MW2019 Engine was just too good and never should have been downgraded.
I don't know if you know, but the old IW employees, who developed MW19, were fired before the development of MW2 began. That said, ask yourself questions and give yourself answers.
MW2 is a cross gen game so maybe 🤔 that's why?

I consider Call of Duty 1- Black Ops 2 (2003-2012) to be the "classic COD era" and I loved every game they made in those years. Out of all the COD games released 2013-2023 I think MW 2019 was the most special, I loved the realistic feeling the game had with the graphics, enviornments, sounds and so on, it felt refreshing for the series.

MW2019 visual recoil is the main reason I wont touch that game. MW2023 lack of visual recoil is what made me touch cod again.

What made MW2019 Immersive was the lack of of HUD Clutter.
Not also that it was the whole overhaul of graphics, the Engine, Movement, GunPlay.
As the people who played MW2 (2009) say “You Just had to be there” Although I didn’t get to experience that era I was lucky enough to live in a COD Hype Era.
I wanna come back but the SBMM will still overtake and I’m pretty sure there is a lot more cheaters on it to, since Infinity Ward could care less about fixing their previous titles and still charge the full amount. Ridiculous…
I also forgot to mention the attention to details and some of the lore that correlates in the game and some of the characters have unique interactions with another.
There was another layer of extra love and care and it shows even till this day it still boasts life while it’s lacking in its color palette.

The beta was a highlight. Then crying nubs came around and they updated it to an arcade shooter like tf2.. I miss the old days when devs didnt give a shit about low skilled players 🥲

True. MW2019 may have looked the best graphic wise when it came to realism. But the way people played in that game was disgusting. It was bad enough the movement felt a little sluggish, but then the camping problem was amplified ten fold in that game as well. It was jarring switching over from Bo4 to that.

The Main Reason why everybody says Modern Warfare 2019 looks the best is because it is the only game in the series that did not have a single reload animation from a previous game. Yeah those days are way fucken behind us now...

Yesterday, I went back from MW3 to MW2019 to check what the differences were. Guess what? MW2019 is still way better than MW3 (the guns, movement's mechanism, graphics, gun's movement mechanism, gun's graphics, how tactical equipment effects players, response speed, sounds). This game came from the future.
MW2019 still looks great. MW2 and MW3 are trying to resemble Call of Duty Mobile for some reason. Also can not stand the built in FOV MW2 and MW3 have where the hallways look long and the enemies look far away like your shooting ants.

I will say one thing. The smoothness of movements is clunky. Whether it’s beta or not I know the end result will look the same.
The fluidity of mw2 & mw3 is nerfed. This is due to lowering advantage skilled players against normal players.
I mean for crying out loud. The slide canceling looks horrible on MW3. So clunky, so jittery, you can make it smooth here and there.

In my opinion i think mw2019 has a more realistic sun look when it hits the ground the sun has brightness to it comred to mw3 were yes you can see the sun but the sun doesht creat the type of brightness you imagije in a hot summer day in mw2019 the sun has a glow effect if you look at it behind things in mw3 it like the suns just the to give light unlike mw2019 it doest habe a glow like type brightness

@@DJCinthaBoy Nah you tripping bro. MW2019 was a great game aside from the shitty maps and TTK (which admittedly made me hate the game as well). Overall with the movement, mechanics, and graphics, it's still better than, CW, VG, and Bot Warefare 2.

If MW2/MW3 applied the VFX correctly. It’d at best look the same as MW19 and at worst similar.
Hell vanguard uses the S3 MW19 engine if you want to go back a bit.
