He’s been covered in it before, probably. He’s seemingly an experienced general surgeon (since we don’t actually know his specific field) and as such has probably had to deal with human waste while cutting into certain areas in the abdomens of his various -victims- “patients”. He’s probably gotten his hands covered in stuff like that plenty of times.
I actually learned how to do the Archimedes the Undying voice... I love doing it to annoy my friends and sometimes I just do the screech...

“they all think you’re crazy” “what?! I’ll show them!” this line is sad to me?? I can’t exactly find the words as to why but they hold a heavier weight than his other more hammy lines.
(2 years after) Yeah, I think I have an unpopular opinion that.. The mercs aren't actually "crazy" per se, and so isn't Medic. Yes, he has his experiments but it seems more like in the name of "medicine" or other reasons. I just can't put any exact words on it because I'm not too crazy about it but I just don't think the mercs are as crazy as people say them to be.
Something I love about these voice lines is the fact that most of these cosmetics are community-made, so there was a time where Valve take the time to select wich cosmetics would get in the game with anticipation and made custom voice lines for them. They didnd't had to, but they did it anyways.

There is so much genuine pain and panic in the voice actor's voice.
He's personally one of the best in delivering voice lines.
I was about to say the same thing. Robin Atkin Downes (Medics voice actor) makes Medic so expressive and emotional with his voice lines. But honestly, all of them do. I’m pretty sure that’s one of the main things that people love about tf2.
