Steelers fan for almost 50 years here and just want to say this podcast episode belongs in the Hall of Fame. Ben and Coach Cowher still bring out the best in each other.
The 2004 season was the first season I remember watching as a 7-8 year old. Could not be more proud to be a Pittsburgh Steelers fan even through all the highs and lows. Thank you coach for everything you did for the team and the city of Pittsburgh!
Being a devoted Steelers fan since the 70's it is like reliving the memories with all these great people. I might not have been on the field but I was watching every moment screaming at the TV good or bad but it is great to hear what they were thinking and feeling. Just memories great memories. Thank you
Thanks for all the amazing childhood memories coach. You Greg Lloyd, Kevin Greene and levon Kirkland are the baddest men of my generation of Steelers football.
This is by far my favorite episode. The amount of knowledge and stories here... Being Gen Z, I may not have seen the majority of Cowher's time with the team, but I for sure understand the significance of his leadership and the teams he coached.
I saw his entire tenure as Head Coach. I was 22 years old the day Coach Cowher was hired. I knew by looking at the intensity on his face that great things were coming back…
I got to listen to the years of Chuck Knoll and then Cower. COWER WAS THE BEST! I'll never forget when they flagged the steelers for 12 men on the field and he got a picture printed showing they had 11 and ran to the official and shoved it in his shirt pocket. I was so sad to see him leave. Him and Knoll were great.
Ben saying "i went to the right team" at the end almost made me shed a tear and I think he almost did too. You can also tell how much he respects Coach.
Wow! Great episode. Big Ben truly has a talent. A gift for great gab. As a lifelong Steelers fan I appreciate having him as our QB for all those years. A true gunslinger who did whatever it took to win.
Spencer, you are very good at running and controling this. The show is SO GOOD with minimal gear and persons. Not just for the content and guests, but the audio, video, and controls. Well done bro.
Thank you so much for bringing Coach C. onto the show. I feel myself getting emotional like I always do thinking back to those days watching football with my dad and brother. This was truly amazing. Couldn't even get through all of this episode because I felt the tears coming on and I'm at work and can't make a fool of myself right now. Love Big Ben and Coach C. so very much.
I am truly feeling blessed to have listened in to this meandering down memory lane. This was the easiest 102 minutes of RUclips video to watch ever. Thanks Coach, Ben and Spence. Just wonderful!
I have only seen two episodes, but I can tell you I will be watching all of them going forward. Ben, I want to thank you for all that you did for the Steelers. We miss you! To see this interview with Cowher and you was a blessing.
The best episode to date…they’ve been all good but this was amazing, got tears in my eyes when they were talking about the motorcycle accident and Coach Cowher wife’s
These episodes just keep getting better and better! I could listen to you and Coach talk for hours and hours. What would be really cool would beat you have Coach Tomlin and Coach Cowher on at the same time!
This episode with Coach Cowher was great. The insight to the behind the scene stuff is cool to hear and the street ball stuff is hilarious! Two minute drill at the end with him was great too. Gotta love coach Cowher. Happy belated birthday coach! Here We Go Steelers!
Absolutely great show. I've been a Steelers fan for the past 53 years and it's fun listening to Coach Cowher and Ben reminince about their past football experiences. Keep up the great work guys!
This was the best episode of all of these shows and it was great to hear a lot questions and things we wondered about in the past with these 2 finally be addressed, and in an entertaining style. Not one minute of this was boring. Great job guys!
Every episode of Footbahlin is great, but this one is the best yet. This episode made me feel like a kid again, reliving that iconic 13-0 start from Ben, and the absolute machine that Cowher built for 2 (😉) Super Bowl titles. Thank you Coach Cowher for the best football memories I've ever experienced.
This was a such a fun episode! Was smiling the entire way through! Love Coach Cowher and Ben, and it was just so entertaining and special getting to hear them just reminisce like this.
Mr Blount is an absolute salt of the earth, gracious person. If you meet him, as I have had the good fortune to, you would have no idea how famous an well off he is. His foundation has helped so many young people, and unlike many he is hands on with what he does. Much respect.
Oh my goodness, I just clicked on this to see Ben and Coach and now it's almost 2 hours later and I wish there was more time. The Steelers have been my team since I was about 6 years old (1972 Franco Harris's rookie year) and it really is all about family. Love these guys, truly do. Thank you Ben and Coach Cowher for everything.
One of thee best guest you guys have had. Coach Cowher and Ben’s chemistry and conversion just flowed. Stories were funny as well specially the fine he got lol! Keep them coming guys. #SteelerNation
It's been a long time since I've seen Ben Roethlisberger and coach Bill Cowher in the same location, and it's probably the first time I've ever seen them sit down and actually have a conversation. It makes me very happy as a Steelers fan. What an incredible podcast.
Cowher is such an old, tough soul. Pure Pittsburgh… man such a pleasure to listen to these guys reminisce about crucial events that we all watched unfold.
Ben, Spence, this was the best episode yet. Loved every minute of if. Such an important part of our fandom is because of the Jaw and all of the stories and anecdotes relived here were just great. It’s jerome’s fault to not be there and get roasted.
I am 58 years old and been a Steeler Fan since I was 8 years old and loved this video! I miss the era with Ben and Coach Cowher together. Bill Cowher was the best coach I have ever seen. He celebrated with the team during times but he was coach enough and man enough to get in your faces when he needed to. Man I miss those times and couldn't get enough of this video. I could have sit here and watched it for hours!!!! Great video!!!!!!
WOW! This episode was a joy to watch as Ben and Coach Cowher shared so many great memories from their years together. I loved the hilarious banter between them. This episode was funny, touching, and had so much depth. Thank you, Ben, for blessing your fans with this podcast. Every episode has been special. The guests have been awesome. Spence is the perfect co-host for you. Evan, who I call “The Stealth Chef” just quietly shows up with the food, speaks when spoken to, and warms his way into our hearts. I look forward to every podcast.
This episode was incredible! I found myself laughing several times over the interactions. It was so interesting to hear firsthand accounts and in-depth descriptions of several moments important to Steeler Nation.
Watching coach Cower n big Ben reminisce almost brought tears to my eyes a couple times cuz u can tell that they have a lot of respect n care about each other. I really enjoyed watching
What a fabulous episode. Very entertaining to here Bill reminiscing on those classic stories. He’s still a funny guy. Big Ben as well. And never before has a video made me so darn hungry. That ‘ Burgh ‘ like chow looked extremely tasty.
This was so great to watch. Had a smile on my face the entire time. Me and my brother were at that AFC Championship game in Denver and made it on ESPN Sports Center holding up two giant signs that read "This one's for Jerome" and "Hey Denver Fans, This time #7 is wearing Black and Gold." Sat right behind the Steelers bench. Best game ever.
i did not want this to end!! so so good. Fell in love with the Steelers in the late 90s with Cowher, so nice to see him as energetic as ever. those troy stories at the end made me laugh out loud, need him on the show!!

I would have given anything to have been in that room during this episode. Thank you Coach, you will forever be the best in my book. Much love, much respect
I was 13 years old in 2005, was raised a Steelers fan. Watching my mom fight a battle with cancer, the Pittsburgh Steelers going on to win the Super Bowl helped my mental health in so many ways. These two people helped mold me! Thanks coach C and thanks Big Ben 🫶🏻
I love coatch Cower, so sad when he left😢. I wish he would come back to coaching Steelers, such a emotional guy ,it pumped everyone up during the game.
Being a lifelong steeler fan I can’t believe I haven’t found this sooner. Thanks for the memories coach and of course Ben. How can you not love these guys.

Pitt and Penn State turned Cowher down for scholarship and paid the price... So to speak...
Agree 100%
There hasn't been a single bad episode whatsoever, but this one is by far the best. Love it.
No kidding!!!!
Exactly this one was soooo good
I had to pause and pop some popcorn. 1000X times more fun than B. Costas' sleepy shows with frosted lenses. Cowher turned out to be funny.
My thoughts exactly
Man, every interview just makes me love them, just even more!!!!
Steelers fan for almost 50 years here and just want to say this podcast episode belongs in the Hall of Fame. Ben and Coach Cowher still bring out the best in each other.

Yup that playoff run was my first time watching steelers football. Instantly fell in love with both
That’s also the first season I remember watching! Also remember that loss to the Patriots vividly and started my hatred for Tom Brady lol
Same here. That year was almost unreal, until that last game.
Right there with ya guys! We watched an Era rise growing up, and I think we get to watch a new one rise over the next couple years as adults

Same bro since birth 2000 I’ve been a Steelers fan they are such a family
Crazy he calls out Ben for being dumb getting in that Bike accident. Definitely they go back to back if he wasn't reckless
Thanks for all the amazing childhood memories coach. You Greg Lloyd, Kevin Greene and levon Kirkland are the baddest men of my generation of Steelers football.
Don’t forget Jason Gildon.
Also Chad Brown
Shit I loved watching Kirkland play! The guy was amazing to be THAT big but that fast still.. no one like him that I’ve EVER seen
That’s just the Steelers man. They are. A different breed.
I love the show, but this episode was just Yinzer ICONIC!
This is by far my favorite episode. The amount of knowledge and stories here... Being Gen Z, I may not have seen the majority of Cowher's time with the team, but I for sure understand the significance of his leadership and the teams he coached.
