I don't understand why people in this day and age get surprised if a woman is older than her husband. Have ppl forgotten the example of our
Holy Prophet Muhammad s.a.w.w who married Lady
Khadijah s.a. and he loved her to the point that even after her death he used to weep for her and miss her, this is one of the greatest example for us.

I absolutely agree with you. Age is a number and nothing in front of LOVE. However, honestly, as a rule of thumb, most of the marriage with the woman being older went unsuccessful. You know the fact that women get mentally more mature at any age and they think about a serious marital life much earlier than guys. So age difference can be problematic honestly.

It's very good to get families involved and take the time to get to know not just the sister, but her family. Many times so many problems and divorces can be avoided by taking time to really get to know each other and each family first before jumping into marriage. So many problems come from family conflict and not knowing each other's expectations or future plans or goals. Very nice story and very good process.
