I use to have a very hard time staying in my lane and hitting the curb just driving in a Sedan, and I remember getting so angry with myself especially when I saw that MTA Buses or Larger vehicles were centered in their lane🤣🤣🤣 I later learned that my problem was vision, I was looking in all the wrong places, I am a lot better now once I learned where to look

I’ve always been a fan of suvs. I learned in a smaller car, but suv just seem much more smoother to drive and the visibility is way better in my opinion.

Very nice video! A lot of people have a hard time driving a larger vehicle. Once you get used to it, it’s easy. I am truck driver and I am used to driving trucks so now it feels weird for me to drive a regular car. When I drive a normal car i keep a huge distance because I am used to braking with a big truck.
Just got my first car. A Kia Sorento. I’m still getting used to it. I can’t tell the distance in front of me. I used a sedan for my driving lessons and I got really comfortable with it. No way! Im here because i just bought a kia Sorento also as a family car since i have kids and i been having the same problem, i got used to driving my Toyota corolla 😰 and im a short gal with a huge car now 😅

My family got me a Dodge Durango for my first car to celebrate getting license. I shouldn't have told them I wanted a bigger car.. but its to late now and I'm nervous. Does this in the video help with that kind of car??
I currently drive an Infiniti QX80 which is a big vehicle but it’s luckily got a 360 camera to help me out in those really tight spaces when I need it. Thanks for the tips!

I’m an excellent driver in my 2008 Kia Rio manual. I learned manual from you actually so thank you for that. Sadly my little Rio is gotten to small for my needs so my next car is a 2013 Kia Sorento manual and I’m scared from going from my little car to this huge suv.

Another way to tell where your limits are on either side of you is to slowly and carefully(with no one beside you) veer towards the bumps on either line next to you. It can be more difficult to feel the bumps in a truck, but once you feel those little bumps, you'll be a lot better off staying in your lane

I always drove cars ( 2 door and sedans) about 5 years ago I got my first suv a 2001 Honda Crv SE. I just sold it a few days ago and went back to a car (Sedan) The SUV life was just not for me. I feel much safer in my Sedan

It's more prone to rolling over, it's more prone to killing or inflicting more serious injury to a pedestrian (actually TWICE as likely to kill one), their braking radius is much longer. The only thing you are right about is that they might be safer for the driver in a crash however that is at a cost of inflicting far worse damage to whoever they are crashing into. I don't know about you but the safety of other users of the road is equally as important to me as my own.
I think practice definitely plays an important role, but what makes some drivers naturally better than others is how good someone is at with math. Driving is all about angles and calculations, so those who mastered math should have a lot easier time with maneuvering vehicles. Especially when it comes to parking.

I just think its a car but its high and has big wheels in it Imagine i drive my car for almost 5 years I just drive home my dad suv from difficult parking space to garage Easy without any problems Btw its not just regular 4runner its the lifted version of sr5 comes from the factory 1 thing is have COURAGE i know its my first time but if i quit i can't drive home the suv to a safe place
