I agree with all of that. I feel the only good communities left in Oakland County are Ortonville/ Brandon Township and Holly. Every other community is overpopulated/ developed and has way too much traffic. I was a homeowner in Clarkston for many years and had to move north of that traffic cluster mess😢
Re: speed traps.... The 35mph speed on Glengary in Wolverine lake is an illegal speed trap speed according to Michigan law 2016-bill 4423. The 35mph speed trap speed has actually been illegal since an earlier speed limit law in 2006. Wolverine Lake is aware the speed is illegal and doesn't care. They want the ticket revenue.

Yuppies killed my hometown, I've been priced out from buying a home here. Pathetic. At least we have 2 bounce houses and 9 dog care centers.
Like the up north feeling without all the stuff, for instance just a general store/gas station.

I've lived in Commerce and Union Lake... in the 70's and 80's, before all "these" people moved there. It was great!
It’s definitely done a lot of changing! Even in the last 5-10 years the influx of population has been insane
