Out of the 5- Dollar General toons that have come into my possession, Viessa is by far queen of the castle. I love the play style, and even tho my build looks like I got it at swap meet Louie’s second hand store for coin deprived interstellar enemployment recipients, she still puts in work, is fairly tanky and she doesn’t dress like a two bit wh…or a street walker. Thank you for your guide. Today you got another fan and follower.
I do like that you covered the weapons and skill duration thoroughly. Many others cover it a bit, but often leave some bits out (and then i like to comment to cover it). I will like to add one thing, - Secret Garden's buff only has a chance to trigger on cast. - Sadly this means that the ticks don't help with giving more chances. - If it doesn't trigger, that is 6s or so of no buff. - If you have even one of the buff and the next cast doesn't trigger, the buff will run out without having a chance to stack and thus you'll be starting over again. - Secret Garden CANNOT be used with Hypothermia or Absolute Zero, as you lose your Tech skill typing. - Secret Garden DOES NOT trigger off of her passive, despite it being Tech based, as it only triggers on a skill cast and you have no button to cast the passive manually. This sadly makes it a very inconsistent buff, but a very powerful one if it works. Personally, I use Blue Beetle for that permanent 100% uptime of increased Skill Crit Rate. NOTE that Blue Beetle's buff only increases the base crit rate and is a flat, unmodifiable amount. For Viessa, having the highest base Skill Crit Rate out of all Fusion using Descendants at 15%, that means Blue Beetle will give her a flat +4.5%, always. No matter the mods or substats on her reactors. Similarily, the next highest base Skill Crit Rate user is Bunny, with her 10%. Meaning Blue Beetle can give ger a permanet +3%. All other Singular using Descendants have a base of 5%. Making the Blue Beetle a kind of worthless option on them..... With the exception of Valby using Supply Moisture. While mods augment crit do not work on Blue Beetle, as those don't affect the Base Crit Rate, Supply Moisture adds a flat +20% to the base (that is modifiable with other mods, but that is still a seperate number than what Blue Beetle goes off of). This means Valby now has a Base Skill Crit Rate of 25%, which can of course all be buffed by mods, while Blue Beetle will give its Flat Unmodifiable Crit Rate buff that is now worth a whopping +7.5%. Amazing. Really allowing her DoTs to soar. ..... Okay, that was a bit more than one thing.... I tend to ramble a bit.....
you should add me Vaisukin#9608 cause i like the way you think it’s similar to me Also you did say the blue beetle gave flat, but the right term would be multiplicative, valby supply moisture is flat, or additive, while blue beetle is multiplicative. Also the blue beetle is simple a stat stick weapon, it may not be the best, but it’s the only way you can get an increase in stats so it’s better than nothing. Blue beetle with bunny and viessa is amazing as most people don’t know, but defense master is a very overpowered mods that helps squishy characters survivability. How defense master works is it gives you 120% defense for 10 seconds upon killing enemy, with 15 second cooldown, but you don’t have to kill an enemy with the blue beetle to get this buff, meaning you can use bunny 1 for example, kill an enemy with it, and you will receive the crit rate buff from the blue beetle and the defense but from defense master. Pair this with the fact that bunny is snapshot damage, this means you build blue beetle for weapons change speed, swap to it, pop 1, then pop 3 and switch to your main weapon. By your own argument also Secret garden would be the best choice, as it does give a lot of value, and 50% chance for 21% skill power for 10 seconds is better than a 4.5% in majority of cases. With his build he also has the chance of stacking it more than once if he is lucky, which leads to possibly some insane damage numbers, and even though it’s inconsistent, there is no other unique weapon that offers that much potential value to skills, which you could make the argument of clairvoyance, but you would have to lose out on ability dps since you have to shoot your gun.
Im in the process of building sharen with blue beetle as my mounted weapon because her base crit is 25 and she has very high base skill power value on her first spell Cutoff Beam so it should be fun

I keep reading comments that frostbite doesn’t work on bosses but there was another video I watched by Xur, I believe that said it was misinformation and that frostbite does indeed work on bosses. Would be awesome if there was more clarity on that. If it didn’t work, I would think it would be a bug that would need to be reported as all other effects work on bosses.

This is going on Freyna. Spent 1 week going for that damned nanotube and wave of lights main blueprint. I almost gave up, but yesterday got them back to back lol. The reactor in hagios finally gave up the nanotube. I had to wipe my eyes to make sure I wasn't seeing things hahahaha

So I swapped over to this build and it made a huge difference just at level 1. At the power level. In hard zones. My only concern is longevity. Of course, since I had to resocket one of my slots for this build, I'm only level 15 at the moment. But I don't see it being as durable as when I had my HP module maxed out. I have seen some other pretty killer builds for Viessa that have her survivability pretty impressively stacked, one where you can pretty much just stand inside the Maiden's bubble and not take any damage virtually at all. I see this one she can end things quickly, but it's kind of neat to build to have a little more tankability in a group intercept. I'm also not really sure how useful Ambush would be in a solo Intercept? Is there ever a time where the boss is not targeting you in those? Other than when they first drop in? Also, my Secret Garden sucks. It's only 99,000 DPS when maxed out at proficiency level 40. I guess I gotta refarm for a better. It's also Chill damage and has no such thing called Pest Control showing in the details. Lemon?
This is the best guide I’ve seen by far good work. I have a question though, how could I set up the first bossing build if I wanna put 2 range mods on? I use viessa for farming aswell so that’s why I ask.
I already finished the build and tried it, it's excellent but I don't understand one thing, why do your skills consume very little MP? If I manage to do a lot of damage but I don't finish killing the bosses because I don't have enough MP or maybe the skills consume a lot of MP, I can't do enough skills to kill the bosses, why?
Clairvoyance doesn't proc frostbite on bosses. So polar set is useless. I went all in on this set up until I realized that. U can test this by using it out in the field and seeing you gain the buff where on bosses nothing happens
I actually was procing 3 times in a row quite often, the difficult part was getting enough crits to kill in 7 seconds. Most attempts were 8-12 seconds.
I was impressed for a sec. then realized this is just my build with dangerous ambush. Tried pyromaniac and if you don't get the timing right it's still a 2 minute fight due to frenzy. These boss fights were pre-patch so the frenzy doesn't fill as quickly.
If you are having trouble consistently killing under 20 seconds, break a weak point first to make the boss fall then burst. By far the most consistent way to have very fast boss times. For pyromaniac specifically, viessa’s 1 ability breaks his weak point on his back in his frenzy mode in 1 hit if you crit, which makes it very easy to get him out of his frenzy mode immediately. These boss fights were at most a week ago, was there a recent change to frenzy?
@@bonesCD what ive noticed with frenzy bar is boss will gain frenzy from her blizzard even without the damage tick. just by being in it its building up and im not sure if im imagining things or not but it looks like skill power attacks build it up more quickly vs firearm attacks. even if you do the same amount of damage whether it be 1.8mill from a skill crit or 1.8mill over X time from a gun, the gun will have less frenzy bar buildup. if im going in spamming all my skills its 3 enrage bars on pyro easy. if im mixing in gun damage with viessa its 1-2 bars depending on how i pace out the stagger and grapple knockdown.

With this catalyst setup, I usually use the tankier variant and then swap increased def for maximize range. Maximize range + Skill expansion makes your blizzard super big and makes farming very easy. While mobbing you'll be able to kill packs of mobs in one hit with all your abilities. The blue mp you pick up + mp recovery out of combat makes it so you rarely run out of mp.
Bro what you mean , having Mp conversion , focus on chill and nimble fingers brings blizzard down to 19.1 seconds are you saying when you activate second ability it goes down to 7 seconds ?
Let me explain it to you as briefly as possible. I have created the same build as you with the corresponding module drivers, except for one module, the critical hit rate module, all but that module so I could test the build before completing Viessa, because I have almost everything complete and I can't kill any colossus, much less the ones you show in your video clip. I don't think that because of that critical hit rate module of the ability it has to have much influence at least in being able to lower the health more than half to colossus, I would have to do a lot of damage to the boss even if I couldn't kill him but at least do a lot of damage even if I didn't have that module. I don't deny your credibility and I don't criticize your construction, I simply do what you do and it doesn't work for me and the same thing already happened to me with Ajax ultimate with another YT. I'm sorry for the length of the text but I must let you know what happened.
I have done some tests at the Albion shooting range and I have removed the agile fingers modules to be able to set critical hit rate and now I have everything exactly as you, the same reactor modules and external components. I do the test and it does 1,500,000 damage to me, even in its last hit before ending the ability it has done 2,000,000 but nothing more, I can't do the damage that you do, I don't know what I'm doing wrong.
Please tell me if it has been nerfed, because I have completed the build and recreated it exactly the same even in the reactor although my reactor has 1000 less ability power, but I still do 1,800,000 damage with which I see in your video it does 2,800,000 damage, that's a lot of difference

Hey man So I did your build to the letter tried it with slayer set with mp rolls and tried all 3 weapons with a reactor that has them as mounting and perfect rolls on all Anyway long story short I could never achieve your results with the build I couldn’t kill any colossal in one phase So I’m wondering am I missing something here or was the trials you showed some type of a “perfect run” The only thing im missing is my weapons are not 5/5
I pretty consistently one phase bosses solo. Are you timing your first blizzard to explode right when he spawns? This really makes the one phase more consistent. Another way to get consistent one phases is by jumping on the boss's shoulder and knocking him down to burst. Weapons are all are more effective at max, secret garden needs to be close to max to be able to stack the pest control; however, you don't need max weapons to one phase.

you need 3 of the 4 blizzard ticks to crit for him to go down immediately like I did in the video. Once he goes down, as long as you don't get super unlucky with the crits, you should be able to burst him down.
Because you don't make content to present a specific reality you want to sell to people. Personally I just use Ult lepic to one shot bosses every single time and run a super comfy Viessa build. Like a non snake oil salesman. Altho to be fair this vid is correct if you want to build her for a purpose she's bad at.
@@sonofajew how do you one shot bosses at lepic? i mean i have him all catalyst and run a glasscannon build with highest dps and i cant burst bosses i mean sometimes i do maybe 1 out of 10 entrys but often times they just keep walking away or do weird movement. is there a consistent way to kill bosses without getting them low and immune phase?
i dont think battle stamina is good for her... try change for amplificacion hp or just hp.... clairvorance is a good weapon if you put a good investment, you can put a cold effect and increase rate charge weapon and works a same a submachine and with cold effect and cold resist reduction.
We use battle of stamina for the increase in duration since it makes our blizzard hit one extra time. In the tankier version I showed, we use HP amplification since we get skill duration on our modules with that setup.
probably because he have good reactor fot that weapon. also wave of light is a good scout rifle but of course with a decent build. but your skill do not benefit from such weapon. that's why he showed Secret Garden. Cw. and B.B.
Wave of Light is good for a reload focused hero. Might be useful in the future with a new transcendent mod. Currently only Lepic + Trans Mod is and Voltanic Set is the only viable reason to use the Wave of Light.
Idk maybe because he killed it to fast and sometimes they don't show up which happens all the time to me especially against Gluttony don't know the real reason
Pain. Jokes aside, I tried a few methods and what got it for me ended up being farming hard mode Vermillion Waste electric void pillar with Bunny for fast shards, then NORMAL mode Void reactor mission in Muskeg Swamp (if I remember correctly). The void shard cost compared to the drop rates of the mod is better to just brute force it in normal mode.
@@GyanPrakash @mooberrypie2637 abandon zone, abandon refinery unit. Ultimate bunny with high voltage will be the fastest to clear this. I would complete it in 30 seconds.
You have no way of getting your MP back other than relying on RNG and a very negligible in combat modifier and a negative Max MP. You're going to have to rely on your weapon quite often. Also Clairvoyance's Frostbite doesn't work on bosses so that four piece is a complete waste.

yes, the nano tube is 10% drop rate on all amorphous material. gun seems insane though at max enhancement
yes I lost my sanity farming the nano tube lol, however with the change to outposts, farming the amorphous material is a lot faster now.

dont proc in standard setup, but you can put a cold barrel and its works...

5k hp. Its a bit squishy but ive been able to run all bosses with this build pretty comfortably, gluttony as the exception :)

Just tested with the slayer set. Higher damage is cool, skill cost is not. :') . Good video!

While mobbing you'll be able to kill packs of mobs in one hit with all your abilities. The blue mp you pick up + mp recovery out of combat makes it so you rarely run out of mp.

Let me explain it to you as briefly as possible. I have created the same build as you with the corresponding module drivers, except for one module, the critical hit rate module, all but that module so I could test the build before completing Viessa, because I have almost everything complete and I can't kill any colossus, much less the ones you show in your video clip. I don't think that because of that critical hit rate module of the ability it has to have much influence at least in being able to lower the health more than half to colossus, I would have to do a lot of damage to the boss even if I couldn't kill him but at least do a lot of damage even if I didn't have that module. I don't deny your credibility and I don't criticize your construction, I simply do what you do and it doesn't work for me and the same thing already happened to me with Ajax ultimate with another YT. I'm sorry for the length of the text but I must let you know what happened.
I have done some tests at the Albion shooting range and I have removed the agile fingers modules to be able to set critical hit rate and now I have everything exactly as you, the same reactor modules and external components. I do the test and it does 1,500,000 damage to me, even in its last hit before ending the ability it has done 2,000,000 but nothing more, I can't do the damage that you do, I don't know what I'm doing wrong.
Please tell me if it has been nerfed, because I have completed the build and recreated it exactly the same even in the reactor although my reactor has 1000 less ability power, but I still do 1,800,000 damage with which I see in your video it does 2,800,000 damage, that's a lot of difference

i dont tested it wich reactor but all bonuses in moduls not apply to blue beetle just basic ccrit :(

So I did your build to the letter tried it with slayer set with mp rolls and tried all 3 weapons with a reactor that has them as mounting and perfect rolls on all
Anyway long story short I could never achieve your results with the build I couldn’t kill any colossal in one phase
So I’m wondering am I missing something here or was the trials you showed some type of a “perfect run”
The only thing im missing is my weapons are not 5/5
I pretty consistently one phase bosses solo. Are you timing your first blizzard to explode right when he spawns? This really makes the one phase more consistent. Another way to get consistent one phases is by jumping on the boss's shoulder and knocking him down to burst.
Weapons are all are more effective at max, secret garden needs to be close to max to be able to stack the pest control; however, you don't need max weapons to one phase.
I got the same stuff but even better, yet it’s full RNG to proc the 50% pest control 3(!) times in a row. Most unstable boss killer out there
What are your secret garden's modules though?

i have same build and i use my bliizard at the start but he doesnt go down? and i cant burst him like u in the video why?
you need 3 of the 4 blizzard ticks to crit for him to go down immediately like I did in the video. Once he goes down, as long as you don't get super unlucky with the crits, you should be able to burst him down.
Because you don't make content to present a specific reality you want to sell to people. Personally I just use Ult lepic to one shot bosses every single time and run a super comfy Viessa build. Like a non snake oil salesman. Altho to be fair this vid is correct if you want to build her for a purpose she's bad at.
@@sonofajew how do you one shot bosses at lepic? i mean i have him all catalyst and run a glasscannon build with highest dps and i cant burst bosses i mean sometimes i do maybe 1 out of 10 entrys but often times they just keep walking away or do weird movement. is there a consistent way to kill bosses without getting them low and immune phase?

i dont think battle stamina is good for her... try change for amplificacion hp or just hp.... clairvorance is a good weapon if you put a good investment, you can put a cold effect and increase rate charge weapon and works a same a submachine and with cold effect and cold resist reduction.
We use battle of stamina for the increase in duration since it makes our blizzard hit one extra time. In the tankier version I showed, we use HP amplification since we get skill duration on our modules with that setup.

Wave of Light is good for a reload focused hero. Might be useful in the future with a new transcendent mod. Currently only Lepic + Trans Mod is and Voltanic Set is the only viable reason to use the Wave of Light.
Why there's no rage bar below the health?
Idk maybe because he killed it to fast and sometimes they don't show up which happens all the time to me especially against Gluttony don't know the real reason
He didn't scan with Ecive which highlights weakpoints and displays the rage bar

Jokes aside, I tried a few methods and what got it for me ended up being farming hard mode Vermillion Waste electric void pillar with Bunny for fast shards, then NORMAL mode Void reactor mission in Muskeg Swamp (if I remember correctly). The void shard cost compared to the drop rates of the mod is better to just brute force it in normal mode.
Bruh, how are you guys getting 2-3 Million Kuiper Shards? How long do you do so-called" farming," aka running in circles daily?
I ran the echo swamp for like an hour or 2 every day and I'm at 10 mil kuiper shards.

Nevermind I think it's because I don't have Coldbloodedness and use Hypothermia. Coldbloodedness I think is that one that has a 1.5% chance to drop.
You have no way of getting your MP back other than relying on RNG and a very negligible in combat modifier and a negative Max MP. You're going to have to rely on your weapon quite often. Also Clairvoyance's Frostbite doesn't work on bosses so that four piece is a complete waste.

No you can do this with the regular viessa. He’s using the cold blooded transcendent module both viessas can unlock
Your build is not flexible and you can't use any other red mods. It is bad
with new update you'll have your foot in your mouth as they allow us to swap a single module in a build on another tab. get rekt
