The recoil profile probably comes from an internal gun stabilization system. As you shoot the gun tends to self stabilize, and when the firing ends the thing stops and the "weight" of the system that is now stopping is released towards a direction. My guess is that there is something inside the barrel which spins at high speeds to contain the force of the recoil, so when the guns finishes it's firing sequence, the thing is suddenly turned off and it throws the weapon upwards since it was spinning downwards to make a counter force for the recoil. Or something along those lines, I don't know. Anyway it would justify the design of the weapon
There is a real life system that was made that does the same thing. It was used in the AN-94 weapon system, its called "hyperburst". The thought was to delay the recoil managment system from applying the sensation of the shots by firing a couple of shots before the recoil spring slammed completely to the back and thus impacting the shooter. Because of this the fire rate had to be VERY high, which they dont seem to have translated into the secret garden, but the AN-94 burst had around 1800 rpm.

Is it not difficult to get use out of 3 stacks on this weapon? You would have to use 3 skills in a row and after animations, you would only have maybe 1 or 2 seconds of buff? Am I looking at this wrong?
Hmm, this with Gley and her Blood & Iron Transcendant module would be a really nice synergy - Secret Garden giving skill resource when using Life Syphon, so you can run it more, and the Blood & Iron module making HP regen come in from Firearm Crit Hits, instead of the orb drops... and the Secret Garden has a really high Crit Hit rate, without losing damage 🤔
Where does that elemental enhancement vs weakness mod come from? Cant find it in access info or any other info about it online other than in your videos. Originally I thought you were using that as a placeholder for our choice of fire/chill/toxic/electric enhancement, but none of those scale off weakness, they are just a an ATK percentile elemental ATK. Am I missing something?
With Freyna worth working around her poison and venom set? By using toxic injector? would be a 26% atk on poison target plus the 10% from the venom set when maxed out. I would be using fallen hope and then garden on commanders but really want to squeeze that dmg out while trying to remain in theme
I would recommend skipping out on Toxic Injector entirely; use Fallen Hope for mobbing (with Toxic Conductor instead, this is optimal and its passive already spreads poison) and Secret Garden for Commanders/Colossus, using Mental Focus as shown. Freyna's Contagion mod actually spreads poison similarly to Toxin Injector but in a much larger radius, guaranteed every time an enemy affected by Room 0 Trauma is killed. This stays on the theme you were looking for but gives 21% more damage to Fallen Hope and more consistent stacks of all the damage to Secret Garden. Enjoy!
And for bosses, you should be using your 4, it doesnt matter what gun you have on for that, coz Freyna pulls out an special gun that gets no buff from the gun you have equipped.
I was curios but just how much dps is elemental weakness giving your weapons? its kinda a pain to augment for them so i havent bothered with it, just how much dps am i missing out on?
They add 30% weapon damage (when it is a mod) and this specific elemental damage ignore defense and it mitigated by elemental resistance of that typing instead. It's of course not meta to ignore elemental modding but if it's too much hassle I would recommend just placing Weak Point damage of some form in its place for ease of use. Addendum: The substats roll for around 18-22% of the weapon damage depending on typing at maximum but I have yet to get a perfect roll on this gun to know the percentage.
dumb question, but when we say scaling, we are talking about the fact that the base stats are already high/decent, so adding these things is “scaling” the weapon to even better stats with ease?
Weapon scaling is the base stats, mods are multiplier and addifier. So having high base can benefit more since you multiplying higher number, that is from my understanding.
Good gun but not broken. Good for tech skills descendants with its passive. I have it maxed out. But guns like enduring legacy out DPS this gun by a lot.
Currently Sharp Precision Shot is bugged with all Tactical Rifles, including Greg's Reversed Fate and Secret Garden. There is a random chance for them to be counted as "no longer shooting" even when firing the next burst within 0.5s.

Unfortunately not; the way massacre works currently there are two different META setups, the first being the most consistent (and so the most used) 1) (Using Massive Sanguification) Highest possible fire-rate to proc the skill damage bonus from Frenzied Massacre as much as possible. Right now it's a hot topic whether Python or Thunder Cage are the best for it. My personal tests say Python but I'm not perfect. You want a lot of Crit and Weak Point multiplier where possible to increase the gun portion of the damage. 2) (Using Demonic Modification) Building for the highest single-shot damage possible, and building up across the entire boss fight to summon Massacre using Piercing Light as the base (highest raw damage in the game), to then deal three (or 5, using her third) shots of around 21,000,000 damage per hit, where the skill damage bonus is negligible but the multiplier on Piercing Light using the mod's paasive is the focus. This builds for the absolute most raw damage and Weak Point possible, with Crit as the last focus in modding. Neither of these builds really get help from Secret Garden as Massive Sanguification's build makes the 2nd skill not consume orbs but rather generate them, and by the time you have 3 orbs on the Demonic Modification build this is when you would summon Massacre instead to just deal your ~98m (accounting for failed crits and five shots) to just outright end the fight. Both Dimension skills consume orbs and so you cannot abuse Secret Garden to generate them this way without risking just losing them.

@@epsi9923 I do actually. I see what you are saying in regards to actually trying to use secret garden's passive. @@VOrac1ousUnfortunately it's just not even close. This is why these are somewhat ignored in both meta builds I described above, where the MS build focuses on just triggering the skill damage repeatedly rather than focusing on gun damage in general, and the DM build focuses entirely on just multiplying an enormous base damage to burst the boss to death. Edited-in addendum: The MS build focuses primarily around infinite ammo and abusing Sharp Precision Shot to reach obscene fire-rate and the DM build focuses around multiplying the damage even further using Weak Point Expansion for the first and 5th shots. Even if you're not using the passive for damage buff, bossing with greg is waaaaaay lower and budget build aka the non-real life fighter already exceeds gregs mobbing dps. Greg is just so convenient in mobbing cuz of the orbital strikes.
This weapon deals significantly more raw damage at base (and even more when considering its passive). The issue with Greg's Reversed Fate is the inaccuracy of the Orbital Strikes. If you land all orbital strikes and trigger this around 32% of the time (which is significant luck, as maxed it is a 20% chance) specifically with the passive maxed, it will *match* in damage to this weapon simply landing critical weak point hits consistently with 2 or 3 stacks of its buff. With average luck, Greg's Reversed Fate will fall behind in Colossus fights and be significantly slower in mobbing, though neither are mobbing weapons so I would suggest other weapons for that purpose.
It's not great on viessa because only her ult is tech and you can't spam that to get 3 stacks reliably even with max cdr. I don't think it's great for luna either since afaik you get the secret garden buff on cast and luna essentially only casts her tech skill once. It's better on kyle and ajax, but both of their spammable tech skills have long animations(shouldercharge and jump). Freyna, Lepic, and Esiemo probably have the best time at stacking the tech buff.
If you happen to be using Viessa I do strongly recommend the Blue Beetle, though! It's incredibly strong as well and she greatly benefits from the increased Skill Critical Hit Rate, which also takes next to no effort to upkeep!
@Kovac_ It's theoretical damage which means that it might not get anywhere close if it can't hit the shots in the proper spots. The usability of a weapon is a big factor, we aren't just playing spreadsheets on tabletop games here.
@@Leonhart_93 Please, present a better build then. Even when its just theoretical, any other variations will take your nitpicks about not hitting the right spots into account, meaning your alternate build will be EVEN WORSE.
Here’s a question, how would this weapon stack with valby? Since valby also debuffs her enemies, does this and her stack on top of one another? Edit: Nevermind, saw that the unique ability doesnt do anything for valby. Weird if you ask me since she’s also a non attribute dimensional descendant too.
A quick clarification even though it seems you noticed. "Non-Attribute Resistance" is NOT defence, and so Valby will not actually increase the damage of this weapon. Even despite that, Valby may be worth using as "Supply Moisture" provides a +20% BASE (affected by mods) Critical Hit Rate when standing on water; this allows a 100% crit chance on this firearm using only Critical Hit Rate UP and one mod that provides the sub-stat +1.5% Critical Hit Rate. Even though she cannot proc its passive, this is worth consideration! Personal taste.
Bunny's main skill her 3rd which is used literally in a infi loop and if you don't play her like that ur playing her wrong. But my point is that 3rd ability is a dimension skill so why would secret garden not work on her? It's better on kyle and ajax, but both of their spammable tech skills have long animations(shouldercharge and jump).
Freyna, Lepic, and Esiemo probably have the best time at stacking the tech buff.
If you happen to be using Viessa I do strongly recommend the Blue Beetle, though! It's incredibly strong as well and she greatly benefits from the increased Skill Critical Hit Rate, which also takes next to no effort to upkeep!
dont follow a build where he doesnt showcase against bosses and enemies
Facts
Not to mention the fact that he didn't even put Valby as a dimension skill toon.
It's theoretical damage calculations and will deal that damage regardless of the content, if you don't understand what that means then god help you.
Kinda hard to believe that this outperforms greg based on the dps. If so why isn't everyone using secret garden?
Late reply, but greg is one of the easiest noobie guns to farm. Secret is way harder in terms of % drops.
You forgot valbys dimensions
Tech… u forgot Jayber bro…
My Kyle weapon of choice :)
so u dont even have to max it , from level 1 it can do the same dps as lvl 4 on most descendants
Only if you aren’t using the passive
Annnddd Valby?? Dimension beauty is not on the list??
I for the love of pete cant get any parts of this weapon
i believe real life fighter is useless in many scenario, tag me video to prove me wrong
It works just fine I have it and use it on bunny and everything I trigger her 3rd I get custom resource back because it is a dimension skill. Do you even play the game? Or just look at things and think I know how this works. A mistake is a mistake but edit your videos you might see the mistakes and if you don't than do more research before posting misinformation about a char.
Bunny has no dimension skills, 2 singular skills and 2 fusion skills.
Her 3rd skill is singular.
Wtf are you smoking ??
So Valby dibt have dimension skill??? 🤦🏾
Got 8 sockets, annihilation components and same modules fully upgraded but got 550k DPS doing 15k dmg 🤦🏽♂️ does DPS actually matter?
The DPS calculator in game is broken, watch ryechews gaming for more info he breaks down how to calculate it yourself.
This gun on my grenade spam mobbing lepic is absolutely mental. 50% skill power alone.. sheesh. and they buffed the stats too!!! wild
build?
whats up with this gun's nano tube? this mf i swear 🤦
Bullshit build.
Concentration priority is one of the highest damage increases for this gun in the game. Use that absolutely.
When you rush through these guides the way you have, I don't understand how anyone takes your videos seriously
Let me know if you need help understanding
i feel like the videos are really informative, how they're rushed i dont understand what you mean. Drybear does a great job on these videos and if theres something youre not understanding, im sure he would be willing to help.
Slow down vid to .5 maybe. Slower speech so u can process his genius
Valby can use this gun as well..
Secret garden: Greg who???
You to old for clickbait dude

@@timmylaw yes,.
@@Xaax102 because it doesn't do anything, it doesn't increase damage dealt to any of the factions or any of the collosus that I tested it on
