Dammit, watch the Olympics and Karen Stupples who is without doubt is the worst announcer of any sport on TV. She talks real low and mumbles goes on and on ad nauseam detail just horrible. I always just flip her off. Several of my golf buddies have laughed about her for the last couple years, obviously a DEI. Or she’s dating one of the NBC people.
I agree with you so so much it should be for amateurs only not Professionals like a lot of the sports in the Olympics it was just for the Amateurs, it's not enough for them to travel around the world and win all the titles and all the money that goes along with that they want an Olympic medal to utterly disgusting
@@richardraymond9920 correct plus the tennis and a few other sports . Example Andy Murray in and out of the singles of which he hadn’t a hope of winning,.possibly keeping a good amateur player from getting experience .
I have no problem with it. All the Athletes in other sports are professional. Also Amateur status has changed anyway, the top college Athletes are getting paid now.
Sooo the Olympics should host the 2nd or even 3rd best athletes in the world? What’s the point of that. The Olympics are a spectacle of human endurance and skill aka not for everyone….
