the flash duration doesnt depend on the distances, at least not that much (you said 1 vs 2.25 sec). What determines the duration is mostly how long you were holding the flash (you can see a bar below on your screen with a line which tells you if your flash will be 1 or 2.25 depending if you pop it after it crossed the line). So you actually can do a 2.25 sec flash even from short distances, if you manage to hold your flash against a wall or the ground or even make it flay around and then pop it around the corner.

You're technically correct yes, but if youre just spinning around your flashes a short distance to get a max flash duration you're not gonna end up flashing anyone. Realistically if you are trying to get max duration it's gonna be from long distance to support teammates

@@Ninekillaa I still think is misleading to say that the duration is about the distance, as there are plenty of ways to get the full flash and still be able to peek yourself. Depending on the angle, the bird will bounce and take longer to reach the corner of a wall, giving you still time to peek right after you pop it and get kills. You can also hold it to the ground and then release it, but this takes a little more practice and works best if you are inside a smoke. You could also get the bird stuck around corners and peek (enemies may turn) and then you can pop it (or use it as fake) and it will be a 2.25 sec flash

@@idclol2883 is not even that hard, just practice on a custom game to get a feel how it works. I do this a lot when Im inside a smoke since I I have time to do it. Even if the flash is for a teammate, it might be worth it for the 2.25 blind. I usually just hold it in the ground but there are some surfaces that it bugs out, but this is rare.

If skye's flash is far to your crosshair, its getting harder to dodge . So u can use flashes on top of the box and rhan peek at the same time with flash
