I saw this man perform in the concert chamber , St George's Hall in Liverpool in 1973 when he was introducing music from the album Millstone Grit. I remember it well, and with astonishment. I'd never heard anything quite like him. Marvellous. Why hasn't he been knighted?

I watched Michael Chapman play this live at this years End Of The Road. It was the best thing I saw all weekend, and I saw a lot of good music.
