Encontrei as músicas de Chapman há pouco tempo, por volta de 2018, e elas realmente falam bastante para mim. Gostaria de tê-lo conhecido antes, mas acho que as vezes a gente precisa estar no momento adequado para encontrar certas pessoas.

We got to see Mike regularly around the folk clubs in Hull in the late sixties and early seventies before and after he formed his group. And then at Cranfield in 1973. A really nice guy and it goes without saying a fantastic player. I only just found these latest videos Thanks Mike.

I wish I'd been there.

I was blessed to hear him play at the Brampton Cricket Club a few years ago. A solid air event at a fabulous little intimate venue. That's the closest I've been to a legend, although I was only a few feet away from Maddy Prior and Rick kemp at a Carlisle Cathedral Epiphany Carol Service this year. I hope to hear him again.

I remember seeing The Penguin Cafe' Orchestra on TV. They blew me away. I bought the lp and shared it with my brother, who did the same. Saw the Penguin Cafe' Orchestra in Stroud. It is wonderful to know that this soft, gentle, music is being kept alive by folk like yourselves. Thank you, you are the very essence of lovely.
