Did a whole training course with Chris Biro from liberty wings (www.libertywings.com/programs/register-and-pay/). Working your way up Chris’s level system. First is a lot of indoor training (level 0) building up stamina/confidence, lots of outdoor exposure/desensitisation (in aviary/on lead). And of course need a great relationship with him, lots of playing/ bonding/ training. Then, after 8 months or so after getting him, we did our first level 1 flight, (way out in farmland, 1 km radius little/no trees). Lots of other info, but that’s a super brief summary. There’s so many other factors to consider 😅.
