Hey I have been seriously contemplating adopting a bird and was thinking an African Grey. I have a little experience handling them as growing up there was a retired Army vet who owned 55 birds and I used to help him feed (where I met his African Grey) and fell in love and always wanted one. I am very experienced as a dog trainer who owns an Aussie and a Border Collie (so I know what its like to dedicate yourself to a very highly intelligent animal who needs a lot of mental stimulation. Would you recommend now getting a Grey and going with something else??? I have been doing a whole lot of research on diets and needs and I make enough to take care of one just trying to get some advice. And are you not scared of the bird just flying away one day???
Beautiful bird 🙌 love that you’re free flying
Is there a page where you can go and watch people free flying their birds? I'd love to come and watch if this is possible? In Sydney NSW
