Hello my friend and nice to see you again… Watching your videos, and especially this one, make me consider that bmw engineers have a mission: to make everything complex…it is even more complicate than reniew a car air filter! BMW engineers please have a tour to Austrian bike makers….or take a trip to Japan…😂
Another great vid. Got to do this on my 1200GSA soon as its just done a 2000 mile european trip It was much easier on my 1150GS, lift the seat off, a few screws and the air filter can be changed. Come on BMW why make things so fiddley.
Great work, what do you think of the driveshafts on the modern Bmw GS's filling with water? You would think Bmw could build a proper driveshaft by now?
Not sure your GS has different screws. My 2016 R1200R has some with shoulders and some without, of course I didn't notice until it was time to refix. Has anyone a panel screw map?
Appreciated as always 'Old Mechanic'. Best.
Thanks 🙏🏻👍🏻
Almost forgot. Love the camera work and the closeups.
Randy
Perfect timing 😂😂 I'm doing this tomorrow, ps its not raining in Scotland either.
It's easy when we love keeping our BMW in tip-top shape!
👍🏻💪🏻😉
I have to say Old Mac, you have me working on my motorcycle almost as much as riding. No rain here in my part of the US. Love your videos Sir.

Nice job, but...enough done on the 1200; It's time we get in sync again and, like I did, upgrade to a 2nd hand R1250GS 🙂
