The physics of this game seems to be in an optimum balanced state for fun arcade racing. This game definitely has great potential to redeem the Grid franchise
Overall looks great but it does leave some imo important things out. 1. The storm always feels like its right in front of you, but you're not in it. There should be some particles/wind flowing through/behind the car. They probably did not bother to do it for balancing reasons, but without it, storm feels like just a different type of fog. There should also be dust moving on the street surface as you go through it in order to simulate going through storm. 2. The car does not accumulate dust noticeably as it goes through the storm. The windshield is clean and so is the car body
Also, wouldn't the huge amounts of dust from the storm cause internal damage to your engine or worsen the handling of the car because of the high winds?
@@ConnorH2111 Do you see that car flip over there? That alone is already hard or maybe impossible to recreate in Gran Turismo. I've played Grid and Gran Turismo, and Grid just does better on making how the crash physics works. It just more satisfiying and spectacular to watch. In Gran Turismo, it's already hard to make the car even flip. I'm not even mention how much better Grid's damage model compared to Gran Turismo (especially the first Grid). I'm not complain about it, considering that Gran Turismo have more cars than Grid, so I'm just gonna think it's harder to make damage model for each car
