- Prima Power PLATINO® Fiber 2D laser cutting machine is based on the fully tested Platino platform, which can boast more than 1500 installations all around the globe. Over the time this product has been constantly innovated, improving its performance and flexibility and simplifying its use.
Platino Fiber cuts varied materials and thicknesses, up to 25 mm of mild steel with efficiency and quality.
Productivity increases particularly with thin and medium gauge sheet metal, but thanks to new and advanced piercing devices, cycle times are significantly reduced also for mid-high thickness mild steel.
If you need more power, we have the Platino 2.0 with 5kW.

industrial lasers have been around for a long time. but I still never get tired of watching them. still WAY cooler than 3d printers, or anything really.
Cooler than 3D printers? Have you seen industrial SLS and SLA machines at work? Turning liquid into a solid in front of your eyes. Or DMLS? 3D printers aren't just FDM toys that people use at home, because those are toys, not real industrial machines that cost 100,000-200,000 dollars.
4kw lasers are fairly new, though. Some folks at NASA have hypothesized that we could make a gigawatt laser to accelerate small satellites to nearly the speed of light tho
soooooo satisfying to watch, its so efficient its just perfect…I've never been so satisfied watching these videos but this one gets me.
y de laburo como andamo?
This is like some kind of steampunk performance art... the precision and speed is mesmerising.
although you posted your comment 2 years ago... the speed and precision truly is mesmerising, you can't argue that plasma will still rock laser over speed at any time ;) production wise
been meaning to get a laser cutter for myself
working with plasma at the moment
Lasers scientifically ignore conventional durability.
@@skatefoil123 the lenses still wear.
This is unreal. I have built a 7W laser, and it astonishes me. I'd love to watch this thing in person
wow, that thing doesn't mess around!!
It is a great machine
CNC + mechanical = error-free

@@brodeanhzarver3397 CNC is too slow, and creates too much waste.
Possibilities are endless - amazing!!!
I would built custom 'everything' for my 1JZ RX8 - dream come true
It is so fast, it is beautiful.
cant wait for their to be 10s of millions of these machines and larger ones making our dreams of tomorrow a reality.
Back in the day I used to work on a CNC Trumpf machine that punched out shapes from mild steel using a revolving drum carousel of tools. It was programmed by punched paper. Boy the noise. This puppy is light years away from the old clunkers.
I actually program and operate a 6kw Mitsubishi 3015exF-60 Plus fiber laser. I have done so since 2015 and can say that even after that period of time its still impressive
This is some real engineering porn right here
Dylan Kirdahy One of my prouder wanks
I had a hard-on while I was watching this video
Dylan Kirdahy lol
@@aevangel1 shit i think ill be fat all day now ive seen this lol
Mitsubishi and trumpf also
Lasers are awesome!
Awesome, subbed!
damn fast for part I love it
Fantastic!!
Hardcore stuff runs really good
WOW, just...WOW!
ulltimat speed for cutting sheet metal.......nice one
Wow... the surface around the cut melts on the 10mm + steel. Thats some serious power.
We had a 400W Mitsubishi and I thought it was fast. This thing is ludicrous speed!
That is very impressive, does it with ease.
Have worked with Bystronic, Laser Lab and Trumpf machines before.
great video
This is glorious.
Absolutely fantastic!
WOW! Just WOW!
Why I love this?
nice and fast fiber laser cutting.
Amazing machine! Speed and accuracy are incredible! Not to mention the cleanliness and quality of the cuts ... I'll ask one of these to Santa, lol ...
This awesome beast is mesmerizing to watch!
Impressionnant !!!
Good job 👍🏻
Had the pleasure of installing and using this fibre laser at S&W, Erith, Kent, UK, was fantastic, the software was so easy to use, potential is unlimited
The software is atrocious, don't lie.
Awesome machine. Super clean cut.
incredible
It's wonderful like a magic
hypnotic! 💯
Discovered this video 4 weeks too late. Just read about the possibility to see this machine live in action. Checked the address ... it's like 5 miles away from Hoffman Estates, where I stayed in April / Mai this year. :-).
Now back in Germany :-(.
We have office in Germany as well. We are opening up a brand new Tech Center this month. We have offices around the world
very impressive
Very interesting! What’s the width of the laser cut, should you want to use the internal and external pieces, as some kind of sliding fit? What typical Ra / Rz surface finish is obtained? Thanks.
Amazing
I think I'm in love...
That's incredible. Awesome machine.
very cool
Fantastic avesome how machinery are developing....
This is impressive
waaaaww
ooo my god
this machine is my dream
i want one
wow its super machine
Best I've seen
Amazing to watch...
I'm still waiting for handheld version.
for heavy stock- 3mm and over plasma starts to catch up and pass it. but for thin, nothing beats it.
+glenn cook Is plasma cutting as accurate is this?
I'd seriously love to point this in the sky!
This never fails to be simply amazing. This would take forever on a milling machine.
Chalk and cheese. Tolerances are way different.
@@DanielFisher13 If you just want the pattern, which is usually the case, this gives you a cleaner cut than plasma, easier to do than a CNC mill or Router table, and gives a cut that's cleaner than a band saw. There's a burr on the back, but other than that, this is a sweet process.
-- I've done stuff like this the old-fashioned way. Cover the material with ink, scribe everything with arcs, drill a hole in the material, cut it with a reciprocating saw, and then file it smooth. Forget that. Make a drawing, click "cut" pay for it, then it shows up cut better than I have ever done, deburr it if necessary, paint if necessary.
That's some pretty awesome for a fiber machine, I remembered when they were limited to thin sheet metal.
20 mm? That's unreal!
+Hirudin They have 5kW Platino. In can burn through the Earth to Shenzhen and beyond. I think.
Hirudin dec 1haomac us dolar
There is a 6kW still in development testing.
Companies already making 10kW lasers
+Sean McAlister More laser power does not automatically translate into better performance. For this category of machine, 2D cutting, the laser beam has to be focused into a usable & stable form to achieve a good quality kerf. There are several limitations such as thermal stability of optical components (water/air/nitrogen cooled), and consumables used per part cost.
Cost per part is the driving factor for developing better machines.
I have seen a 20kW CO2 laser source in an R&D/demo lab, not usable for cutting.
amazing machine...very fast very clean cut
Are you using a magnetic levitation linear motor?
You should've showed the current bill at the end.
that thing is a beast...love it
What's with all the pre-piercing? Also, it would be nice to see the edge quality of the 20mm especially since this is a fiber laser.
Wow.... The laser I have access to needs multiple passes to cut 8mm acrylic at the speed this machine cuts thought steel at almost 3x that thickness. This is incredible!
I can't believe just how quick that thing is!
hypnotizing
This is beautiful.
Absolutely stunning
Will this cut Iluminum as fast and how thick of sheets will it cut?
Such precision!!!!!
Holy crap, that's impressive....
i want one!
Awesome machine!
what a fabulous machine ,how much will it cost
This is the third technology i am fascinated with. 1st being the simple ink jet printer. Only 4 colors can create thousands.. the second being the modern loom. How dast it can make fabrics. Is amazing. Watching rhis laser cutter work is relaxing. I wish i could afford to own one
great
Super
Makes my back panels for the compuy
amazing
At 7:20: what is flowing on the surface? Cooling liquid or melted steel?
big performance....
Just seen your video mate, absolutely love the content. Liked straight away, We should connect!

Good morning, do you have a CNC láser machine of 40mm x 40mm or 60mm x 60mm of working area?
That's a powerful ass laser to cut through steel this thick like it's a hot knife going through butter.
That metal may as well be butter, holy cow!
that is insane power!
The lack of smoke is nice to see. Once worked in a large factory with dozens of automated plasma putters. The smoke was a thick as fog.
I'm amazed how fast torch changes direction.
Wow.
Why its relaxing?;😁
Amazing machine
4kw, impressive.
can you tell how to load the sheet on the pallet and what is the best way to reuse the sheet used after the laser cutting
