Zergcerebates# some people haven’t been to airports in different countries you know, like me. It’s also my favorite airport since I live here in San Francisco.
@@Zergcerebrates I've been to many airports like Incheon international and Changi airport and they're definitely amazing. Hey I just had a question I wanted to ask you based on your personal experience with this airport. Do you think 2 hours is enough for a self tranfer at this airport? I would arrive in a domestic terminal and then need to collect my baggage and check in again in the main area. Go through security again, then go to the International ternimal A to reach my next flight.
It sounds like you're switching airlines? Personally, I wouldn't feel like 2 hours would be enough time, as you'd need to: wait for the staff to load your luggage onto the carousels, wait in line to check-in your bags again, go through security, and then get to the correct terminal/gate. Also, keep in mind that they usually stop boarding passengers before the actual departure time.
I have the same issue next week, only even shorter. 1.5 hour layover in SFO, flying in domestically from Toronto. Will have to reclear security and then get to terminal A. I’m not checking bags though. Did you make it?
@@abbeymathers hey, I ended up changing my flight because I was worried it wasn't enough time. I don't exactly remember how long it took me to go through everything, but I don't think 2 hours would've been enough, let alone 1.5 😅
@@zakku8151 uuuuugh! I can’t switch flights, Expedia is giving me a hell of a time. It was booked as one big package, and they keep saying it’s enough time but it really isn’t. I preclear customs in Toronto so that saves me time, and not checking a bag saves me time, but security, any delays from the first flight, and getting to that international terminal……
I have to arrive to the SFO international airport at 11:00 a.m. but my flight will be leaving until 23:00 p.m. May I check in my luggage 10 hours before the departure? I do have lounge access. May I bring my check in luggage inside the lounge area for 9-10 hours?
Hi Based on your experience I would like to ask I want to go from San Francisco to Chicago using united airlane. Where should I check in? Domestic or international chick in?
When you check in (or possibly even before), it should give you the gate information. However, I’m guessing a domestic flight will not be checked in at the International terminal.
Hello just wanna ask. Do I need a US visa to go to terminal 3? Because my flight is in vancouver and I have a connecting flight to San Francicso, I will arrive in terminal 1 but my next flight is in terminal 3. Do I need to hsve a transit visa? Or US visa?
Great neat & clean airport
hands down my favourite airport so far.
Whuut, really? This airport is quite old and small compared with other global airports.

@@abbeymathers if security is the only thing you need to clear, it might be doable. It's just a game of luck that depends on how long the line is 😅

Sorry, I, honestly, have not had a flight like that at SFO, so I'd suggest contacting your airline, as they may have better information
