  • Learn about five ground transportation options to get from the San Francisco International Airport (SFO) to San Francisco. Watch to the end of the video for my bonus tips!
    FIVE TRANSPORTATION OPTIONS:
    -Host pick-up
    -BART
    -Shared-ride van (SuperShuttle)
    -Uber or Lyft
    -Taxi
    This video will help people who are taking international flights to San Francisco. I will show you how to take different transportation options once you exit customs and are in the airport’s International Arrival Lobby. This video will especially help international students and scholars who will be coming to San Francisco for the first time. Many of these students will attend English language schools or universities such as the Academy of Art University (AAU), San Francisco State University (SFSU), UCSF, University of San Francisco (USF), and City College of San Francisco (CCSF). This video will also help international working professionals who will live in San Francisco.

    I'm not flying to SFO from abroad but I'm flying solo from another state. My hotel doesn't have hotel shuttle service and Ride shares have been unpredictable. Your tips helped me to learn that my hotel is located very close to a BART station. Thanks

    I found the public muni bus to be the best value and easiest way to get into SF. Wait for the bus, hop on, takes you directly into the downtown SF bus station.

      Muni doesn’t actually serve SFO , but there are few routes that serve Daly City at the Northern end of San Mateo county

      If you have a reservation, look at your reservation and bring driver’s license and pick it up at the garage

    What about samtram bus 292 from SFO? Where i can buy tickets?

    • @worldmeetscity8763
      @worldmeetscity8763  4 года назад

      Hi Thiago, Starting March 25, 2020, SamTrans has suspended fare collection due to COVID-19 until further notice. So you don't have to pay to take the 292 bus. Check this link for updated information: www.samtrans.com/fares/farechart.html

    • @worldmeetscity8763
      @worldmeetscity8763  4 года назад

      If things were normal and there was no COVID-19, you could buy the ticket on the bus. Make sure to bring cash and have exact change since drivers do not carry change.

    Also, BART riders should be more aware when sitting/standing by the BART train doors because it's easy for muggers to grab your belongings as soon as the doors open.

    WTF would consciously go to San Francisco on purpose? I would sooner plan a trip to Beirut or Somalia.

      For those wondering... This is the type of comment produced by people leaning right politically. Why? Because the San Francisco Bay Area leans left politically. Are there not so good places in San Francisco? Sure, but they are greatly outnumbered by beautiful and interesting places. Enjoy your visit!
